Online casinos in Arizona 2026 - Most asked questions
Is BetMGM online casino available in Arizona?
BetMGM is a fully licensed sportsbook available in AZ but you can't access their real money online casino games in Arizona just yet. When Arizona does legalize online casinos, BetMGM will undoubtedly be one of your real money online casino options. See the current BetMGM promo code to open a new sports betting account right now.
Is DraftKings online casino legal in Arizona?
DraftKings is a fully licensed sports betting and DFS provider in Arizona but real money online casino games are NOT available in AZ yet. Similar to BetMGM, DraftKings will likely be one of the real money online casinos given a license in Arizona. In the interim, see the current DraftKings promo code to open a new sports betting account.
Can you gamble on your phone in Arizona?
No real money online casino apps are legal in Arizona but you can bet on sports legally on several legal betting apps. You can also access real casino games on any sweepstakes casino app, although that is not considered "gambling" by the definition of the law. Sweepstakes casinos operate under sweepstakes law, similar to the Monopoly game at McDonald's.
Sweeps casinos offer hundreds of real casino games (slots, blackjack, roulette, etc.) similar to what you'd find on the casino floor at Talking Stick, but they are played with virtual currencies. Gold Coins are entirely free, and are awarded on sign-up or daily log-in. Sweeps Coins are added to your account as a bonus, and can ultimately be redeemed for cash prizes.
The best legal online casinos in Arizona
At Covers, we don't rank a casino until we've made an account, funded it, played through the games, and made a redemption ourselves. That hands-on testing sits behind every Arizona pick below, and you can see the full scoring breakdown on our how we rate casinos page.
Since real money casinos aren't an option in Arizona, every brand on this page is a sweepstakes or social casino that we've confirmed is legal to play in the state. To earn a spot, a site has to deliver on all of the following:
- A sign-up process that takes a minute or two, with no drawn-out ID checks before your first spin
- Clear Gold Coin and Sweeps Coin balances, so you always know which currency you're playing
- A deep slots catalog that gets refreshed with new releases on a regular basis
- Reliable Sweeps Coin redemptions and steady coin drops that give you a reason to come back
Here are the sweepstakes and social casinos we trust most for Arizona players in 2026:
1. Crown Coins Casino - Best for weekly tourneys and challenges
"Crown Coins has a reputation for big sign-up bonuses, a great iPhone app, and a top-tier slots catalog, even if the size of the catalog isn't the biggest. I recommend checking out the early-bird titles and playing the weekly challenges. One area Crown Coins can improve is with a wider variety of games, although there are a reasonable 450+ titles available. This is on the low side for an elite sweeps casino — McLuck has 1,000+ and Stake.us has 2,000+."

📝 Crown Coins Player Reviews
"I'm sure I've already left a review or two here, but by far my favorite site... redemptions are quick and easy with Skrill, almost not even 20 hours before redemptions are honored!! Wouldn't choose any other gaming site as my first choice: great loyalty rewards, great hits and fast redemptions!!"
"Crown coins has a large variety of great games, fast SC payouts and is always offering deals on their gold coin and SC packages. Ive never had any issue redeeming a cash-out. It is definitely one of my favorite sites to spin on."
"CrownCoins is amazing! They constantly give great bonuses and always have affordable gold coin packages to purchase that come with a generous amount of sweeps coins for free. There's a daily login bonus, plus there's daily drops on their social media and through emails. Redemption has been easy and quick, I have never had an issue."
2. FreeSpin Casino - Best daily login bonus
"I went into FreeSpin expecting it to blend in with the wave of newer sweeps sites, and it changed my mind fast. The first thing that sold me was the range of the library. Alongside the slots you'd expect, I found live dealer tables, blackjack and roulette, scratchcards, and a run of crash and casual titles, close to 1,000 games from 25 studios. The custom coin bundle builder is a real rarity too, letting me set my own Gold Coin and Sweeps Coin mix instead of taking whatever package was in front of me. Support runs around the clock on both live chat and phone, which I don't take for granted at this level. The one thing that tripped me up early was the welcome bonus, since it doesn't land automatically at sign-up and I had to go into the Coin Shop to claim it.
"What earned FreeSpin a place back in my rotation was the Funzone. It turns logging in into a real routine instead of a box to tick. Each day I opened my free gift box, picked one of six mystery boxes, and banked Tokens to spend in the Funzone store. Those Tokens got me into mini-games, missions, and tournaments, while the daily challenges paid out in Gold Coins, Sweeps Coins, and badges that nudged my Funzone level up over time. That steady sense of progression, separate from just spinning reels, is what kept pulling me back the next morning."

3. Funrize Casino - Best for huge coin boost bonuses
"What draws me to Funrize is the huge coin boosts, races, and unique slot selection. I find the site easy to navigate with games clearly tabbed (Popular, Jackpot, Asia, Retro Reels, VIP Games, and Bonus Mania). I always take advantage of the coin boosts — they deliver real value. I claimed a 350% boost and secured 875,000 Gold Coins and 50 SC, which gave me plenty of playtime.
"I’ve also noticed that Funrize partners with smaller game developers, which creates a more distinctive library. I don’t often see studios like Mancala or Popiplay elsewhere. Another standout for me is the Fishing Shooter section — games like Ice & Fire Fishing add something completely different. Most sweeps casinos like Crown Coins, McLuck, and Hello Millions don’t offer shooter-style games, so this is a major plus."

📝 Funrize player reviews
"FunRize has been one of the most consistent social casinos. Extremely fast payout, support responds within two minutes, without fail, no matter the time of day. They have deals every week, always a good % extra too, sometimes REALLY good. The deals, game selection, payout speed, and support keep me coming back here every weekend when I have time to play."
"I do so enjoy this gaming platform. I wish they’d allow for crypto options but I find that it doesn’t take long for general push-to-card payout. I haven’t tried PayPal payout yet though. The only issue I face is with customer service most the time and I feel like it’s just AI run rampant posing as a real person or someone who’s never talked to an actual human being in their 54 years they’ve already spent on this planet"
"I have played lots of social platforms for a long time now, and this is the first time I have left a review. I can honestly say if you're going to play, this is the one — I just pray nothing changes here. If it stays the way it is, or gets even better, this is the one! Did I mention Funrize has the fastest payout I have ever seen from one, and I have cashed out on a few. My first redemption, it was less than 12 hrs [before the prize was] in my account."
"Funrize is a great experience as long as you read the terms! If you want to win and redeem all your prize, you need to make sure your balance is at zero. Otherwise you'll only be able to redeem 25 of it, because you had promotion or bonus money on there. The redemption was quick though. It was less than four hours on a weekday!"
4. McLuck — Best for Gold Coin and Sweeps Coins Jackpots
"McLuck is one of the titans of the sweepstakes casino market. I love the 5 free SC as part of the sign-up offer, which is far superior to much of its competition — RealPrize, LoneStar, Casino.Click all offer 2 free SC. The referral bonus can also net you up to 100 free SC. The games catalog is also elite with RubyPlay, 3 Oaks, Playson, Peter & Sons, and many more powering the library. I tend to venture to the McJackpots where 200 million Gold Coins and 100,000 free sweepstakes casinos are up for grabs.
"I would like to see table games added to McLuck. Still, to their credit, they've expanded their live casino section to include 11 versions of blackjack, six variations of roulette, as well as random titles like Crash Live and Gravity Plinko. Another perk is that McLuck has a great app available for iOS and Android users."

📝 McLuck player reviews
"I was hesitant to try McLuck, I normally use another site. Mostly because I was unsure about the cash out process, having read stories of long delays etc. Well I had a bit of luck and the cash out process was simple. Gift cards take about 24 hours and bank deposits 2-3 days (I did both). Based on that I would recommend McLuck."
"I must say… I am over joyed with all you wonderful folk at MC luck , for supplying great slot machines that are always good to me. You take care of your subscribers, and all you good folk will always have 5 stars. Thank you for being fair and honest and very helpful."
"I love playing mcLuck and when cashing out it's very easy and it takes 2days to get your winnings. You don't always win but when you do it's well worth the wait. Wish I'd win more but that's the way it goes can't always be lucky. Customer service is quick to help and makes sure that the customer is well taken care of. Give Mcluck a try you won't be unsatisfied."
5. Spree Casino - Best for original titles
"What stands out to me about Spree is how quickly it's built a library since launching in 2024, now sitting at 1,700+ games from 34 providers like Booming Games and Playtech. The 44 exclusive Spree Originals titles give it a genuine point of difference from other sweeps sites, and I like that you only need to wager 10 SC once before you can cash out. The tiered VIP program tracks your XP through Ruby, Emerald, and Diamond levels, which adds a bit of long-term motivation beyond just chasing the welcome bonus.
"My one knock is that Spree skipped a dedicated app in favor of an HTML5 site that works in any mobile browser. It ran smoothly enough in my testing, but if you want a native app experience, that's not what you'll get here."

Arizona real money online casino updates
Sweepstakes casino sites are currently legal and available to AZ players, and regulating real money online casinos is the next logical step.
Here are some key recent updates regarding Arizona online gambling:
- The Arizona Department of Gaming widened its enforcement push, sending cease-and-desist orders to five more online operators (BetOpenly, Bookmaker, Club WPT Online Poker, Kutt Inc., and Raffle Creator) over alleged felony-level offenses such as promoting illegal gambling and money laundering. Sports betting stayed the state's only legal online wagering option, and with no iGaming bill in play, real money online casinos remained prohibited.
- Arizona maintained its position as a sports-betting only state, with online casino iGaming still not legal with no active legislation moving forward. The Arizona Department of Gaming prepared to reopen licensing for event wagering operators later in the month, focusing on maintaining a competitive sportsbook market. Regulatory attention remained on compliance and enforcement rather than market expansion.
- Arizona's sports betting market remained stable, although there were minor shifts in operator participation following exits and adjustments among licensed sportsbooks. The Arizona Department of Gaming also outlined plans to reopen licensing for event wagering operators later in the year. Online casino gambling remained with no new legislative developments.
- Arizona's regulated sports betting market continued steady performance, with wagering activity holding consistent compared to previous months. The state remained engaged in broader national legal disputes involving prediction markets, but no progress was made toward legalizing online casino gaming, which remains prohibited.
- The Arizona Attorney General escalated enforcement efforts by filing criminal charges against prediction market operator Kalshi, reinforcing the state's strict stance on unlicensed betting products.
List of all Arizona live casinos
Given Arizona’s proximity to Nevada, most people looking for live casino action cross state lines and head for Las Vegas. For something closer to home, there are 24 class III casinos in Arizona, run by 16 tribes.
Six tribes in the state don't own casinos but have rights to slot machines, which they lease to other tribes. All the casinos in Arizona are Native American Tribes gaming facilities, and operate legally.
Here’s a list of the legal tribal casinos currently open in Arizona:

How we rate and review Arizona online casino sites
The scorecard below is how we turn our hands-on testing into a cohesive rating. Each Arizona casino is graded across six areas, and a site has to hold up in all of them, since one weak spot is usually enough to keep a brand off our shortlist. Here's what goes into each score for 2026:
Bonuses and promotions
Value at a sweepstakes casino isn't one headline number when you sign up. We start with the no-purchase sweepstakes casino no-deposit bonus, but go well beyond that to explore the daily deals that keep you coming back, such as daily login rewards, mail-in offers, coin drops, and social media giveaways.
Coin purchases and redemptions
Going in, we look at how many purchase options a site offers and whether coin package pricing gives players plenty of options. Coming out, we time how long a Sweeps Coin redemption actually takes and check which fast payout routes, from bank cash to gift cards, are available.
Games and software
A giant game count doesn't count for much when no-name studios are behind it. We want developers you'll recognize like Pragmatic Play, Hacksaw Gaming, and Relax Gaming, a library that keeps adding new releases, and enough table and live dealer options for players who want a break from simple slots.
Security and trust
Handing your personal and payment details to a casino only makes sense once it's earned the benefit of the doubt. Brands clear that bar by running legitimate no-purchase sweepstakes, locking their sites down with SSL encryption, and building a track record of paying winners instead of stalling them.
Mobile experience
Phones are where a large chunk of sweepstakes gaming is done these days, so a clunky mobile build is a major negative. It needs to run smoothly straight from a mobile browser, and any iOS or Android app should carry the full desktop experience over rather than cut corners on games or menus.
Customer support
Most support questions here trace back to redemptions, which is the last moment you want to be left hanging. We judge how quickly live chat and email teams respond to questions, and sites that keep help staffed well into the evening (or even 24/7) rate higher than the ones that are only around 9-5.

Arizona online casino FAQ
Sweepstakes casinos in Arizona take several steps to protect your details when playing online. For instance, most reputable sites employ SSL encryption, protecting your personal and financial information from hackers. Some sites also allow you to enable 2FA to protect your account further.
Arizona does not currently allow traditional online casino gambling for real money. Players looking for a legal alternative can try sweepstakes casinos, where promotional currencies are used instead of direct cash wagering. Depending on the platform, eligible prizes can be redeemed for real cash rewards.
The best sweepstakes casinos in Arizona offer instant purchases and fast payouts within 1-3 days. Anything longer than this is a potential red flag. We include banking terms in our Covers BetSmart Rating system to ensure we only recommend the fastest-payout casinos available in AZ.
You can play at any sweepstakes casino in Arizona on your phone, although not all have downloadable apps. But you can always play at sweepstakes casino on any phone or tablet. Given that most casino games have been built with HTML5 technology, you’re unlikely to notice a difference between mobile and desktop casino gameplay.
