Packers vs Giants Best bet: First half Under 22.5 (-105)
The Green Bay Packers have lost two straight games heading into Sunday's showdown with the New York Giants, but their defense is not to blame.
Green Bay is second in yards allowed per play (4.6), guiding it to a seventh-place ranking in points allowed per game (19.6). New York comes into this one ranked 23rd in yards per play (5.2) and 24th in points per game (21.7), and that was with Jaxson Dart at the helm for the majority of the time.
Dart (concussion) is out for at least this game, and rather than roll with Week 1 starter Russell Wilson, interim head coach Mike Kafka is starting journeyman signal-caller Jameis Winston. He started seven games for the Browns last year, and Cleveland averaged a modest 18.5 points in that sample.
With the Packers scoring a combined 20 points during their two-game losing streak, there's a clear path to victory for Under bettors in this game. I wouldn't talk anyone off betting the full-game Under, but I believe the real edge is with the first-half Under.
The Packers have allowed just 6.4 first-half ppg this year, tops in the NFL. The Giants are 17th in first-half points. While Big Blue's first-half defense has been weak (12.1 ppg, 24th), Green Bay's offense has not come out swinging very often this year (8.4 ppg, 27th).

The Giants come into this one ranked seventh in rushing attempts, and although Kafka was calling the plays as Brian Daboll's offensive coordinator, I think we'll see a change in approach with the former quarterback now in charge.
Winston has often been busy under center in his time in the NFL. He led the league in pass attempts in his final season with the Buccaneers (2019), and threw the ball 30+ times in five of his final six starts with the Saints.
I expect Winston to be playing from behind, so look for him to clear his passing yards line late.
It's been nearly impossible to keep Josh Jacobs out of the end zone this year, as the Packers running back has scored at least one touchdown in eight of nine games (11 total).
