The 2022-23 season saw several coaching vacancies open up, some during the season, and some after its conclusion. There have already been some dominoes falling, with Jim Harbaugh and Sean McVay staying put with their respective teams, and coaches like Kliff Kingsbury booking a one-way ticket to Thailand.

Sean Payton's future still remains up in the air, with the former Saints' coach having meetings with a few franchises.

The NFL head coach hiring cycle and interview process bring about plenty of rumors and candidates big and small. So, to help you take advantage of another NFL betting market, we've got the latest NFL head coach odds for you below.

Arizona Cardinals next coach odds

2023 head coach Odds
Brian Flores -125
Sean Payton +150
Vance Joseph +350
DeMeco Ryans +750
Shane Bowen  +950
Jonathan Gannon +1,200
Aaron Glenn +1,500

Odds courtesy of DraftKings as of January 27.

After signing an extension through 2027, Kliff Kingsbury has been ousted as the Cardinals HC after an abysmal season. Sean Payton's name will be linked to several teams, with the legendary coach's return very possible. Payton himself said he would be up for an NFL return if the right opportunity presented itself.

Another name to consider for the Cards' opening spot is Brian Flores, who would most definitely be happy to accept his first head coaching job since his ugly departure with the Miami Dolphins.

Denver Broncos next coach odds

2023 head coach Odds
Dan Quinn +150
Sean Payton +225
David Shaw +1,000
Jim Caldwell +1,400
DeMeco Ryans +1,500
Ejiro Evero +1,500
Shane Steichen +2,000
Raheem Morris +2,000
Kellen Moore +2,500

Odds courtesy of DraftKings as of January 17.

Nathaniel was given a stout defense, Russell Wilson, and he still couldn't hack it with the AFC West, not even making it to the end of his first season as head coach. Denver was 4-11 when Hackett was let go, brought on by an abysmal offense.

Now with Sean Payton and Dan Quinn in the mix, the Broncos have all the toys they could ask for. Sean Payton isn't returning to the NFL for a rebuilding team, and Dan Quinn will be happy to work with the Broncos after having so much success with the Cowboys' defense this year.

Houston Texans next coach odds

2023 head coach Odds
Jonathan Gannon +125
DeMeco Ryans +350
Shane Steichen +600
Mike Kafka +750
Sean Payton +1,200
Brian Callahan +1,400
Ejiro Evero +1,800
Aaron Glenn +1,800
Josh McCown +2,000
Eric Bieniemy +2,000

Odds courtesy of DraftKings as of January 27.

Lovie Smith may have only had one season with the Texans, but boy did he go out in style, knocking off the Indianapolis Colts while simultaneously handing Chicago the first overall pick.

With Smith out, Eagles' DC Jonathan Gannon is currently favored for Houston's head coaching vacancy, closely followed by Ben Johnson who met with the team last week. It'll be interesting to see whether or not the Texans put offense or defense first.

Indianapolis Colts next coach odds

 2023 head coach Odds
Ben Johnson +350
Eric Bieniemy +400
Leslie Frazier +550
DeMeco Ryans +750
Dan Quinn +750
Raheem Morris +1,000
Shane Steichen +1,200
Jeff Saturday +1,200
Ejiro Evero +1,200

Odds courtesy of DraftKings as of January 17.

Another team ben Johnson has been linked to is the Indianapolis Colts. To say this season was a letdown for the Colts would be the understatement of all understatements, winning four games in a year they were thought of as a Super Bowl contender.

Frank Reich was let go after the team's 3-5-1 start, and Jeff Saturday (+1,200 to return) fared no better, finishing the year on a seven-game losing streak. Second only to Johnson is the Chiefs' OC, Eric Bieniemy, who had a recent interview with Indianapolis.
