Eagles touchdown pick: Dallas Goedert
Philadelphia TE Dallas Goedert's anytime touchdown prop is tradable up to 35%.
Goedert is one of Philly's most experienced pass-catchers, and he should become even more important with two starting wide receivers sidelined, including target leader DeVonta Smith.
He was already second on the Eagles in targets (seven), receptions (five) and receiving yards (48) against Dallas last week. Goedert's only two touchdowns this season also came against Washington in Week 1, so we've already seen him find openings against this defense.
Furthermore, Washington's defense is tied for the second-most touchdowns allowed to opposing tight ends so far this season. Between the injuries, his established chemistry with the offense and his previous success against the Commanders, Goedert should see plenty of action.
Commanders touchdown pick: Stefon Diggs
As long as Washington WR Stefon Diggs' anytime touchdown prop stays below 35%, I'm in. Most of Diggs' routes are run out of the slot, and Eagles nickelback Cooper DeJean has been getting torched this season.
DeJean has allowed a team-worst four touchdowns in coverage and has a 54.3 overall defensive grade from Pro Football Focus (PFF), while Diggs ranks 38th on PFF's wide receiver grades table.
Diggs has caught a team-best four touchdowns, including one against the Eagles in Week 1. Philadelphia's defense as a whole has surrendered the most total fantasy points to opposing wide receivers in standard scoring this season.
First touchdown scorer pick: Jayden Daniels
Give me Jayden Daniels' first touchdown scorer prop up to 13%.
He is one of the most elusive quarterbacks in the league and has two rushing touchdowns this year. Daniels has PFF's third-best rushing grade among quarterbacks this season behind Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson.
Philadelphia's defense is tied for the most rushing touchdowns allowed to opposing quarterbacks, with three. That could be partly because Philadelphia's linebackers have to worry about dropping back into coverage, as the Eagles rank 27th in defensive EPA per dropback, according to RBSDM.com.
Despite Daniels' known mobility, I could see Philly opting not to use a spy against him, allowing him to scamper in for the opening touchdown of the game. It's also more likely Daniels will score early before the Eagles start spying him.
Long-shot touchdown pick: Treylon Burks
Washington WR Treylon Burks' anytime touchdown price should be flipped with that of third-string RB Jeremy McNichols, who is priced at 19%.
Burks is an outside wide receiver, and PFF projects him to see snaps against Eagles CB Tariq Woolen, who has allowed a higher passer rating when targeted than DeJean.
Two of Burks' nine receptions this season have gone for touchdowns. Burks' target totals have increased across his five appearances this season.
At this price, with his trend line, I'm willing to take a stab at Burks catching a touchdown against this bad Philadelphia secondary if he's active. He's questionable with a foot injury.
Eagles vs. Commanders touchdown combo
I’m riding with Stefon Diggs and Dallas Goedert at 10.80x because both guys should be front and center when these offenses get close.
Diggs has already proven he can win this matchup, and Goedert’s role should only grow with Philadelphia missing key receivers.
That’s enough for me to take a swing on both veterans crossing the goal line. I’m not asking for anything exotic here, just Washington and Philadelphia getting into scoring range and trusting two proven pass-catchers to finish drives.
Give me Diggs on one side and Goedert on the other.
