The Denver Broncos come down from the mountain and cross the country to visit the Washington Commanders on Sunday Night Football.

Denver rides an eight-game winning streak into the nation’s capital and will look to ground and pound their Week 13 opponent, which my Broncos vs. Commanders predictions like running back R.J. Harvey to lead the charge.

Here are my best NFL picks for Sunday, November 30.

Broncos vs Commanders prediction

Broncos vs Commanders Best bet: RJ Harvey Over 47.5 rushing yards (-114)

Denver Broncos head coach Sean Payton has a simple game plan for Sunday night: Run the ball and play lockdown defense.

With the forecast for SNF calling for rain in the D.C. area and temperatures that “feel like” 29 degrees, Payton told his players that those two things travel in bad weather. He’s also been dissecting the newly sodded surface at Northwest Field.

"New sodded field, no one’s played on it. Then we have the ‘My Cause My Cleats’. What if those cleats aren’t the right shoes?” Peyton told reporters about this week’s prep. “Making sure we understand the field conditions.”

Regardless of the weather, the Broncos will be able to run all over the home team Sunday night. The Washington Commanders sit in the bottom third of most run stop metrics, including 24th in success rate allowed per handoff. Denver boasts one of the best offensive lines in the business, rated Top 10 in run block win rate and adjusted line yards at FTN.

Running back RJ Harvey is now the primary ball carrier ever since J.K. Dobbins went down. Before the Broncos’ bye last weekend, Harvey logged 38 snaps and carried the ball 11 times — second most this season — for 30 yards in the win over Kansas City in Week 11.

With Denver laying -5.5 on the road and the Commanders' offense potentially down multiple skill players (including QB Jayden Daniels), the Broncos could have plenty of touches and aim to chew up the clock with the lead in the second half.

The bulk of player projections for Harvey call for 50-plus rushing yards in Week 13, and most of those models are at 58-plus with a ceiling of 62 yards versus Washington.

Broncos vs Commanders SNF same-game parlay

The Broncos will lean into the run on the road Sunday night, with Harvey getting the bulk of those carries. His projections are as high as 62 rushing yards vs. a poor Commies run stop unit.

Given the state of the Washington offense and a game script that has the Broncos chewing up clock with the run in the second half, RB2 Jaleel McLaughlin is a live touchdown pick after finding paydirt in Week 11.

Denver is a sizable favorite, but with some questions around the Commanders’ passing game, we’ll pass on the point spread and stick to the Broncos extending their winning ways on Sunday Night Football.

Broncos vs Commanders SGP

  • RJ Harvey Over 47.5 rushing yards
  • Jaleel McLaughlin anytime touchdown
  • Broncos moneyline

Our big-ticket SGP: Running wild

Sean Payton has put the emphasis on running the ball in bad weather, and Harvey is now RB1 with Dobbins sidelined.

McLaughlin moves up the depth chart and comes off a breakout game in Week 11.

There is plenty of love to go around in the red zone, especially against this Washington defense.

Denver should control the clock with the run and get after whoever is under center for the Commanders Sunday night.

  • Broncos moneyline
  • RJ Harvey anytime touchdown
