Things could get ugly in Lubbock, TX on Saturday when the 0-2 Oregon State Beavers travel to take on the 2-0 Texas Tech Red Raiders.

The Red Raiders boast an explosive offense, and the Beavers defense has struggled with much worse in their first two games.

Find out who I like in my Oregon State vs. Texas Tech predictions and college football picks for Saturday, September 13.

Oregon State vs Texas Tech prediction

Oregon State vs Texas Tech best bet: Texas Tech Team Total Over 42.5 (-114)

The Texas Tech Red Raiders scored 67 and 62 points in each of their first two games to start this season. Granted they were terrible opponents; it was still impressive work. They piled up 95 of those 129 points in the first half of those games.

Meanwhile, the Oregon State Beavers defense allowed 34 points to Cal and 36 points to Fresno State. Cal put up a balanced attack on offense and really hurt them with an efficient passing game.

Fresno State utilized more of the running game and broke several long runs combined with scoring on both a punt return and a pick six.

Texas Tech ran for over 230 yards in each of their two games and threw for at least 314 yards. They also have recorded an interception in each game and took the one against Kent State back for a touchdown. The defense will help them get into scoring range as well.

Quarterback Behren Morton has a 73.9% completion percentage and running back J’Koby Williams is averaging 7.3 yards per attempt on the ground.

The Beavers are going to have a nightmare of a time trying to stop this offense and the Red Raiders should be able to continue lighting up that scoreboard.

Oregon State vs Texas Tech same-game parlay

To add to the team total, I am going to take both J’Koby Williams to hit his rushing total Over and Behren Morton to hit his passing total Over.

They will stick to a balanced attack and both guys should be able to rack up the yards throughout the first three quarters even if they get pulled late.

Our deep-ball SGP: Red Raiders Frazzle Murphy

The Red Raiders' defense will be a nightmare for Maalik Murphy, disrupting his rhythm and making it difficult for him to connect with the Beavers' receivers in order to keep pace.
