Alabama vs Missouri prediction

Alabama vs Missouri best bet: Alabama -3.5 (-104 at FanDuel)

Week 7’s SEC showdown between the No. 8 Alabama Crimson Tide and No. 14 Missouri Tigers features two excellent teams, but the difference lies in who they’ve faced.

Missouri’s undefeated record is impressive, yet its schedule has been far lighter than Alabama’s, which includes back-to-back wins over ranked SEC opponents, highlighted by a road victory at Georgia.

That battle-tested SEC experience gives the Crimson Tide a crucial edge in Saturday’s high-pressure road environment. Missouri’s offense, led by Ahmad Hardy, the nation’s rushing leader, will challenge an Alabama defense allowing over 150 rushing yards per game.

Kalen DeBoer’s group has tightened things up when they needed to, and Alabama possesses the physicality necessary to contain Hardy and disrupt the Tigers’ offensive rhythm. Quarterback Ty Simpson’s efficient passing attack provides balance and big-play capabilities that Missouri hasn’t faced yet.

Expect Missouri to compete, but Alabama’s experience and depth should carry them to a solid cover on Saturday.
