The No. 1 seed Arizona Wildcats face the No 2 seed Houston Cougars in the Big 12 Conference Tournament final on Saturday.

The Cougars' attack is spearheaded by freshman phenom Kingston Flemings, and my Arizona vs. Houston predictions are betting on him to shine under the bright lights tonight.

Here are my best free college basketball picks for this clash between two of the best teams in the country on March 14.

Arizona vs Houston prediction

Arizona vs Houston best bet: Kingston Flemings Over 17.5 points (-120)

Kingston Flemings leads the Houston Cougars in scoring and has stepped up in big games. In 23 contests against unranked opponents, he's averaging 30.2 mpg with 13.9 ppg on 10.9 FGA.

However, he's logging 34.7 mpg with 22.8 ppg on 17.0 FGA in 10 games against ranked foes. Flemings scored more than 20 points in seven of those 10 games, and even when he went under that mark, he still took 17+ field goal attempts.

With Flemings consistently looking for his own shot more in these situations, he should clear his points prop against the up-tempo Arizona Wildcats.

Arizona vs Houston same-game parlay

I like the Cougars in a revenge spot after losing at home as 5.5-point faves against Arizona last month. The Wildcats shoot threes at one of the lowest rates in the country, and Houston has an elite interior defense.

The Cougars biggest flaw is their tendency to foul and inability to get to the line. However, refs tend to allow more physical play in March, and they've had comparable FTA rates against Kansas and BYU over the last two nights.

The Cougars need to compete with Arizona on the glass if they want to win this game. That comes down to five-star freshman Chris Cenac, who leads Houston with 7.6 rpg and grabbed 14 boards against Kansas last night.

Arizona also has a pair of five-star freshmen filling up the stat sheet. Brayden Burries leads the team with 15.8 ppg and will look to bounce back after an ugly 0-7 shooting performance last night.

Koa Peat missed the previous clash with the Cougars, so they won't be prepared for his passing ability. The forward has become a hub for the Wildcats offense, racking up 3+ assists in six of his last eight games.

Arizona vs Houston SGP

  • Kingston Flemings Over 17.5 points
  • Chris Cenac Over 6.5 rebounds
  • Brayden Burries Over 14.5 points
  • Koa Peat Over 2.5 assists
