Sam Darnold will look to rub it in the Minnesota Vikings' faces when his Seattle Seahawks welcome the Minnesota Vikings to Lumen Field.

My Vikings vs. Seahawks predictions think the Seattle QB will do just that in this Week 13 tilt.

Find out why in my NFL picks for this November 30 matchup.

Vikings vs Seahawks prediction

Vikings vs Seahawks Best bet: Sam Darnold Over 228.5 passing yards (-114)

If conversations had taken a different turn earlier in the year, Sam Darnold would have been on the opposite sideline on Sunday instead of marshalling the Seattle Seahawks offense.

Darnold has done little to fan the flames as he prepares to face his former team, but it feels safe to assume he’ll have a little extra motivation heading into this Week 13 clash. With that in mind, I’m taking the Over on this passing yards total, and Darnold has breezed past this number in six of his last eight contests.

The Minnesota Vikings bring a steady pass defense, fueled by Brian Flores’ blitz-heavy game plan, but the Seahawks can neutralize that with quick passes to Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Cooper Kupp, and the rising AJ Barner.

But it’s the JSN factor that makes this prop so appealing. Smith-Njigba leads the NFL in receiving yards (1,313), and Darnold has consistently found a way to get the ball to his top target.

The Seattle QB is averaging 253.2 passing yards per outing this year, and he bounced back last weekend against the Tennessee Titans following his nightmare afternoon in L.A. in Week 11.

The hosts will lean on Kenneth Walker III and Zach Charbonnet to gain the hard yards on the ground, and that just sets the table for Darnold to be opportunistic with his shots down the field. I’m banking on a few more highlight plays on Sunday.

Vikings vs Seahawks same-game parlay

Smith-Njigba continues to rack up huge stat lines, and he found the end zone twice against the Titans last weekend, taking his tally to seven TDs in this breakout year. I’ll take the slight plus odds for another touchdown here, with Seattle likely to benefit from good field position.

The Seahawks may shut down the chunk plays to Justin Jefferson, but T.J. Hockenson should have a big role to play on shorter routes. He finished with 39 receiving yards in Week 11 against the Chicago Bears, and I see Kevin O’Connell dialing up some easy checkdowns to his tight end to get Brosmer into a rhythm.

Vikings vs Seahawks SGP

  • Sam Darnold Over 228.5 passing yards
  • Jaxon Smith-Njigba anytime touchdown
  • T.J. Hockenson Over 23.5 receiving yards

Our big-ticket SGP: Brosmer Bombs!

There aren’t many more challenging places for an NFL debut than Lumen Field, so I’ll fade the Max Brosmer passing yards prop, even at a relatively low number. The Seahawks held MVP favorite Matthew Stafford to just 130 passing yards in their last home outing.

Vikings vs Seahawks SGP

  • Sam Darnold Over 228.5 passing yards
  • Jaxon Smith-Njigba anytime touchdown
  • T.J. Hockenson Over 23.5 receiving yards
  • Max Brosmer Under 170.5 passing yards

Vikings vs Seahawks game predictions

Vikings vs Seahawks moneyline prediction

The Vikings have dropped three in a row and five of their last six games, so there’s not much upset potential to get excited about. Seattle is 7-2 SU in the previous nine meetings between these teams, and this could be the week the hosts fully unleash trade-deadline addition Rashid Shaheed. Most of all, look for Mike Macdonald’s defense to make life miserable for Brosmer this weekend.

Vikings vs Seahawks spread prediction

The numbers tell the story here. The Seahawks are 8-3 ATS this year, while the Vikings are 4-7 ATS. That’s given us a hefty double-digit spread, and Seattle has had some uneven performances at home this season, but it’s tough to take the points with a rookie quarterback on debut at Lumen Field. It feels safer to pick the hosts to cover this line as they look to stay in the NFC West race.

Vikings vs Seahawks Over/Under prediction

The Over is 7-4 for both these teams this season, but Brosmer is the wildcard for this matchup. We’ve seen the Seahawks run up some big scores against overmatched opponents, including a 44-13 demolition of the New Orleans Saints at home in Week 3, and yet the Under has been a winning ticket in the Vikings’ past three contests.

Vikings vs Seahawks odds

  • Spread: Vikings +8.5 (-110) | Seahawks -8.5 (-110)
  • Moneyline: Vikings +350 | Seahawks -450
  • Over/Under: Over 43.5 (-110) | Under 43.5 (-110)
