Steelers vs Bears prediction

Steelers vs Bears Best bet: D'Andre Swift Over 11.5 receiving yards (-114)

Chicago Bears running back D'Andre Swift has picked up 12 or more receiving yards in seven of nine games for 6.4 yards per target and 23 total receptions of 210 yards.

He also went good for 12 or more receiving yards in 11 of 17 games last season, and he’s only had a lower receiving yards total twice since joining the Bears at the beginning of last season.

I’m anticipating Swift being involved in the passing attack as a means to mitigate the Pittsburgh Steelers pass rush. Pittsburgh blitzes at the fourth-highest rate in the NFL and generates pressure at the 11th-highest clip.

Chicago quarterback Caleb Williams has struggled when there isn’t a clean pocket with a 38.5 completion percentage for just 4.9 yards per attempt, and Swift is an experienced pass blocker ranking 10th in PFF pass blocking efficiency.

So, with rookie RB Kyle Monangai not showing nearly as well as a pass blocker, Swift should see the bulk of passing-down work again in Week 12.

Steelers vs Bears same-game parlay

There’s nothing scary about a Chicago defense allowing 26.4 points per game and ranking 26th in defensive DVOA, so I expect Pittsburgh to put points on the board at Soldier Field on Sunday.

Additionally, Chicago has gone Over its team total in six of its past nine home games (+2.55 Units / 24% ROI). The Bears offense has been solid, too. The Bears average the eighth-most yards and 10th-highest EPA per play while scoring the eighth-most points per game (25.8).

Turning to Chicago wide receiver D.J. Moore, he cleared this receiving yards total in seven of eight games to start the year before going quiet the past two weeks. I’m expecting him to be another quick-hit option for Williams in the passing attack and go Over this total.

Steelers vs Bears SGP

Our big-ticket SGP: Steelers to stifle Williams

In addition to the Steelers bringing the pass-rush heat, they’ve also held opposing quarterbacks to a pedestrian 6.2 yards per attempt and the second-lowest EPA per dropback while ranking first in pass defense DVOA the past three weeks.

Steelers vs Bears SGP

  • Over 44.5
  • Caleb Williams Under 219.5 passing yards
  • D'Andre Swift Over 11.5 receiving yards
  • D.J. Moore Over 34.5 receiving yards
