Cardinals vs Cowboys prediction

Cardinals vs Cowboys Best bet: Bam Knight Over 57.5 rushing yards (-110)

Last week, Denver’s running backs gashed this awful Dallas Cowboys defense for over 150 rushing yards on 7.13 yards per carry. The Cowboys are giving up the fourth-most rushing yards per game (146), and now Bam Knight steps into a great spot with almost no competition for touches. Trey Benson is still out, Emari Demercado is banged up, and Michael Carter was released before landing back on the practice squad.

With a game total north of 50 and Knight’s rushing line set at 57.5 yards, I’m all in on him this week. I’ve already grabbed his anytime touchdown at +145, and I’m adding his rushing overs. Whether it’s Kyler Murray or Jacoby Brissett under center, I’m comfortable — Brissett actually ran the offense more efficiently in Weeks 6 and 7.

In the Arizona Cardinals' last game, Knight handled 64% of the running back opportunities, even with Carter getting seven carries for just 11 yards. Knight finished with 57 yards on 14 carries against an elite Green Bay run defense. Over his two starts, he’s faced tough run units (Packers, Colts) but still logged 25 carries for 91 yards and a score.

With that kind of volume against this soft Dallas defense, 15 carries for 60 yards would only require 4.0 yards per carry — a modest ask versus a defense allowing 4.9 per rush on the season.

The matchup is perfect, and the opportunities could be more than expected.

Cardinals vs Cowboys MNF same-game parlay

The man with two names will have plenty of room to run as the Dallas defense tries to cover its warts in the secondary and mask the extensive injuries. He could be facing some light boxes. Javonte Williams might be an auto-bet to score in a game with a total of 53.5. Only Josh Jacobs and Jonathan Taylor have more red-zone TDs than Williams at seven.

Cardinals vs Cowboys SGP

  • Bam Knight TD
  • Javonte Williams TD
  • Bam Knight Over 56.5 rushing yards

Our big-ticket SGP: Knight and Jay

It might only be two legs, but with the indoor setting and a 53.5-point total, these are the two backs who get to finish off every drive.

Cardinals vs Cowboys SGP

  • Knight 2+ TDs
  • Williams 2+ TDs

Cardinals vs Cowboys game predictions

Cardinals vs Cowboys moneyline prediction

I wouldn't want to lay any juice with this Dallas defense that is still having injury issues in the secondary. The Jacoby Brissett start doesn't worry me, as he commanded the offense better than Kyler Murray over his two starts.

The Cards have lost five in a row, which includes the Titans debacle, and the Cowboys got worked last week by the Broncos. The Cowboys have the motivation.

Cardinals vs Cowboys spread prediction

Brissett is under center and the Cards are hurting at RB. I think in the range of outcomes, Dallas can win big in this game while the Cards cannot.

Brissett was a 10-point dog at the Colts three weeks ago for a reference on this road team.

Cardinals vs Cowboys Over/Under prediction

This is one of the highest totals of the year, but actually two points fewer than Week 7's game in Dallas vs. the Commanders that finished 44-22 for the Cowboys.

Combined, these teams are 10-5 O/U, with the Cowboys making up the most of the Overs with a 6-2 O/U record, which is 3-0 O/U at home with games of 66, 80, and 77 points. It's a big number that opened at 51.5 last Sunday.

Cardinals vs Cowboys betting trend to know

Dating back to last season, Dak Prescott is a perfect 6-0 O/U at home on the closing total. Find more NFL betting trends for Cardinals vs. Cowboys.

Cardinals vs Cowboys latest injuries

The Cardinals brought Kyler Murray to Dallas with a “questionable” tag, but head coach Jonathan Gannon has already tipped his hand: Jacoby Brissett will start against the Cowboys. Murray’s mid-foot sprain, suffered in Week 5, has lingered through the bye and cost him the last two games, keeping him just shy of full clearance.

Gannon hasn’t ruled out a cameo, but if Murray dresses, it would likely be in a situational or emergency role, not as the primary trigger-man. That aligns with Arizona’s final injury notes and weekend updates from team and league outlets.

Brissett is set to take the first snap and the bulk of reps, with any Murray involvement contingent on game flow and how his foot responds during warm-ups.
