The 18th-ranked South Florida Bulls have been college football’s breakout story.
Their quest for a third straight win over a ranked opponent to start the season is its stiffest competition this year, when they visit No. 5 Miami.
The Hurricanes beat Notre Dame in an opening week thriller, and crushed Bethune-Cookman, and are very aware of their in-state rivals’ stellar start.

Carson Beck hasn’t had to air it out in his two starts, and that balance should continue Saturday. Miami is averaging 36 points over its first two games, and Beck hasn’t forced anything en route to multiple TD pass efforts both games. I think he stays at two in this one again.
South Florida QB Byrum Brown was the team’s leading rusher in the win Over Florida, carrying 17 times for 66 yards, and he’s cleared the 37.5 rushing line set for Saturday in both games.
