College Football Picks Against the Spread for Week 3

Georgia has owned Tennessee over the last eight years, and our Week 3 ATS picks expect more of the same in Knoxville this weekend.

Expert Week 3 CFB ATS picks

Kansas State vs Arizona (-1.5): Arizona -1.5

This very well could be the trap game of the week, but there is absolutely nothing point to Kansas State after falling to Army as a 16.5-point favorite, losing to Iowa State in Dublin, and scraping by North Dakota as a four-touchdown fave.

Wisconsin vs Alabama (-21.5): Wisconsin +21.5

Alabama putting 73 on UL-Monroe does not mask its Week 1 issues, and with this spread beyond three touchdowns, I'll gladly take the points.

Clemson (-3.5) vs Georgia Tech: Clemson -3.5

Clemson was on upset alert as a 27.5-point favorite against Troy last week but handled business with a 24-0 second half. This is a short spread and a good spot for the Tigers to build some momentum.

Oregon (-27.5) vs Northwestern: Oregon -27.5

Northwestern scored three points and lost by 20 to Tulane in Week 1. The lesson in there is to not overthink this game one bit.

Georgia (-3.5) vs Tennessee: Georgia -3.5

Georgia has won this matchup eight years in a row and by an average of 24.9 points per game. There's nothing special enough about this game for me to look the other way now.

South Florida vs Miami (-17.5): South Florida +17.5

This is too many points for a team that just won at The Swamp and kicked off its season with back-to-back ranked wins as underdogs. Miami wins, but South Florida keeps it close.

Ohio vs Ohio State (-32.5): Ohio State -32.5

Ohio is coming off a good win over West Virginia, but the Buckeyes — specifically their defense — have looked too sharp for this to be anything but a massive blowout.

Florida vs LSU (-8.5): Florida +8.5

This is the ultimate buy-low spot for Florida after losing to South Florida as big faves last weekend. LSU wasn't particularly inspiring against LA Tech, and its No. 3 ranking is generous when you consider Clemson's struggles against Troy.

Texas A&M vs Notre Dame (-6.5): Notre Dame -6.5

Notre Dame enters Week 3 winless and well behind the eight-ball after losing to Miami in Week 1. I expect a focused, clinical performance from Marcus Freeman's squad in this game.
