OKC remains perfect this season, and it'll have little problems covering against Los Angeles.

The Oklahoma City Thunder are the last unbeaten team in the Western Conference, and they’ll look to keep it that way when they face the Los Angeles Clippers at Intuit Dome tonight.

OKC has played phenomenally on both ends of the court, and my Thunder vs. Clippers predictions expect Oklahoma City to get it done on the road.

Read my NBA picks for November 2, with tip-off at 10:30 p.m. ET on FDSN Oklahoma.

Thunder vs Clippers prediction

My best bet
Thunder -6 (-110 at bet365)

My analysis
The Oklahoma City Thunder sport the best defense in the Association, allowing just 98.6 points per game through five outings. The Thunder rank 10th in points per game at 117.2, and the team is outscoring opponents by 18.6 points per contest — the second-best point differential in the NBA.

The Los Angeles Clippers have played strong defense too, allowing the 10th-fewest points per game at just 111, but the offense hasn’t been quite as productive. Los Angeles ranks 20th in points per game at just 111.6 with a 0.6 point differential.

The Clippers are 0-3 straight up at home, and though the team has lost all three of them by six points or fewer, I’m backing the Thunder to cover. Without Paul George or Kawhi Leonard, this team sports one of the least talented rosters in the Western Conference from top to bottom.

Conversely, the Thunder’s roster is one of the most talented, and I expect the better team to come out on top. Oklahoma City is a Top 10 team on offense and defense, and L.A. won’t be able to cover this spread at home.

Thunder vs Clippers same-game parlay

Thunder -6

Ivica Zubac Over 11.5 rebounds

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Over 1.5 threes

Ivica Zubac is logging a career-high 35.4 minutes this season and is making the most of the opportunity. Los Angeles’ center rotation was thinned out in the offseason with the losses of Mason Plumlee and Daniel Theis, and Zubac is averaging career-best in points (19.2) and rebounds (13.2).

Zubac has grabbed at least 12 rebounds in four straight games, and OKC surrenders the most rebounds to opponents this season. This is an easy Over.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander isn’t known as a prolific 3-point shooter, but he’s taking shots from beyond the arc far more frequently to kick off the 2024-25 campaign. After attempting just 3.6 triples per game a season ago, he’s taking 7.8 per tilt through five games.

SGA is averaging 2.0 triples and has hit at least that many in four of five games this season. The Clippers allow the third-highest 3-point percentage to opponents, setting up Gilgeous-Alexander nicely to cash this prop.
