The Dallas Mavericks' disastrous 12 months have gotten only worse. Anthony Davis’s most recent injury is likely to cost him the next month, including his annual homecoming to Chicago.
Dallas has already gone 1-6 against the spread in the last couple of weeks, including 0-2 ATS on this current road trip.
This shouldn’t be a surprise. Realize who the Mavs are trotting out in their backcourt.
Klay Thompson and Ryan Nembhard are simply not a quality backcourt in 2026, yet they have both averaged more than 20 minutes per game in the last month, combining to score 17.6 points while dishing out 6.5 assists per game.
This is an irredeemable flaw.
