Chicago White Sox starter Anthony Kay is allowing hard contact while struggling to record strikeouts. That’s a dangerous combination against a Tampa lineup with the eighth-lowest strikeout rate (20.6%) since July 1.
Jax has allowed one earned run or fewer in seven of his last 10 starts. Look for another strong start, with Tampa’s dominant pen bringing the game home.
Take the Rays to win to -155.

Thankfully for them, the White Sox aren’t much better. They sit third-worst in HH% (29.3%) since the break, and are Bottom 10 in xwOBA, K%, and BABIP.
The probability of crooked numbers is low for both offenses at the moment, and I expect Tampa to see an eighth straight game with fewer than 7.5 runs.
