The surging Philadelphia Phillies will be looking to keep up their winning ways against the struggling Cincinnati Reds, with first pitch scheduled for 6:40 p.m. ET at Citizens Bank Park.

With Chase Burns dominating and the inconsistent Jesus Luzardo on the hill for Philly, my Reds vs. Phillies predictions are eyeing Cincinnati to end its three-game losing skid.

Who will win Reds vs Phillies today: Reds moneyline (+125)

The Cincinnati Reds haven't been playing their best baseball lately, with three straight losses, all on the road.

However, the confidence of this group always improves when Chase Burns gets the baseball. The 23-year-old has looked terrific this season, going 5-1 in nine starts with a 1.87 ERA and a 1.00 WHIP. He's also struck out 55 in 53 innings.

Burns has allowed just one earned run across his last three outings, and while it's a small sample size of just 12 at-bats, he's only surrendered one hit to the Philadelphia Phillies in his career.

Burns' ERA is even better on the road as well, sitting at 1.45. On the other side, Jesus Luzardo owns an ERA north of five, and basically all of his struggles have been at home, where he sports an 8.31 ERA

The Reds' lineup has also had some success against the lefty, batting .320 over 25 at-bats.

Covers COVERS INTEL: Luzardo has given up 13 earned runs across his last three appearances at Citizens Bank Park.

Reds vs Phillies Over/Under pick: Under 8.5 runs (+104)

Five of the last six meetings between the Reds and Phillies have cashed the Under. Burns is one of the most consistent starters in the big leagues right now, and he's shown the ability to keep even some of the best lineups at bay. While the offense is improving, Philly's still 17th in runs scored

Luzardo's ERA may look poor at 5.07, but it doesn't tell the whole story. Yes, he's definitely struggled to limit the damage, but his xERA is 3.17. There's not a ton of hard contact off him, and Luzardo has also struck out his fair share of hitters, racking up 61 Ks in 49 2/3 frames.

While he's rarely had a stellar outing at home this season, the southpaw is coming off arguably his best start of 2026, tossing six scoreless innings

We'll see runs tonight, but neither pitcher is going to be hit around the ballpark.
