The New York Yankees have worn out the Baltimore Orioles through the first two games of their 4-game set.

It’s been much of the same lately, as New York has rolled to seven straight wins in this head-to-head.

With Baltimore trotting out one of its top prospects to make his Major League debut, my Orioles vs. Yankees predictions and free MLB picks for May 3 have New York offering a not-so-friendly entrance to the bigs.

Who will win Orioles vs Yankees today: Yankees -1.5 (+115)

It’s probably not an ideal debut for the Baltimore Orioles' third-ranked prospect Trey Gibson to make his debut. The New York Yankees have compiled back-to-back games with 11 hits, outscoring the O’s 16-6 in a pair of lopsided wins.

Gibson wasn't exactly lighting it up in Triple A, sporting a 4.01 ERA with three homers allowed over six starts.

New York is also starting Max Fried, who's been lights out in back-to-back starts, throwing 14 innings of scoreless baseball.

The Yanks have won seven straight over Baltimore, with six of those wins coming by at least two runs.

Covers COVERS INTEL: The Orioles' bullpen has allowed 17 home runs, seventh most in MLB.

Orioles vs Yankees Over/Under pick: Under 8.5 (-105)

The Under is 7-3-0 in the last 10 meetings between these teams.

The Yankees should be able to do some damage against Gibson, but Baltimore won't score enough to get this Over the total.

As mentioned, Fried is dealing right now, and the O's sport a .230 batting average. Even when runners are getting on base, Baltimore is struggling to bring them in.

The Orioles have a .230 BA with RISP per Statmuse, and that ain't gonna cut it vs. the Yanks' hurler.
