Toronto heads to Denver fresh off a 47-point fourth-quarter explosion against the Los Angeles Clippers to open the week, and we're backing the underdogs to keep that momentum rolling in our Raptors vs. Nuggets predictions.
The Denver Nuggets host the Toronto Raptors at Ball Arena for a 9 p.m. ET tipoff as resounding 63% favorites at Polymarket. While I'm steering away from the moneyline, I'm finding some love in taking the points.

TOP PICK
Raptors vs Nuggets prediction: Raptors +4.5
The Toronto Raptors enter tonight's matchup with the Denver Nuggets riding high after erupting for a season-high 47 points in Monday's fourth quarter.
And there's one matchup advantage worth highlighting tonight: the battle on the glass. Toronto leads the NBA with 15.3 offensive rebounds per game, while the Nuggets surrender a league-worst 14.5.
Denver has already dropped two of three on home court, and with Scottie Barnes playing some of his best basketball, Toronto has the defensive versatility (10th in defensive rating) and second-chance scoring to cover.

Raptors vs Nuggets combo
The Raptors have been generating extra possessions and are playing at the seventh-fastest pace in basketball, which could help them stay close while giving Barnes more opportunities to collect rebounds against a team having difficulties on the glass.
Meanwhile, Toronto's frontcourt could be shorthanded with Jakob Poeltl questionable due to a shoulder injury, but Denver's rebounding struggles will still lead to plenty of one-and-done possessions for Nikola Jokic & Co.
With limited second-chance points and Toronto looking to turn Jokic into a playmaker, expect to see him go Under the number.
Raptors vs Nuggets combo
- Raptors +4.5
- Scottie Barnes Over 7.5 rebounds
- Nikola Jokic Under 24.5 points
Raptors vs Nuggets player props
Raptors player prop: R.J. Barrett Over 21.5 points
Barrett's hot hand, consistent minutes, and increased offensive responsibility put him in a strong spot to reach 22 points.
He's hit that mark in six of seven games this season, and is coming off an efficient 26-point night on 10-for-19 shooting. If Barrett plays close to 35 minutes, we should have no problem here based on volume alone.
Expect him to push the pace and attack the basket all game long against this Denver defense.
Nuggets player prop: Nikola Jokic Under 24.5 points
The Nuggets will be going up against the best defense they've seen all season; the Raptors will undoubtedly look to keep Jokic's fingerprints off this game by turning him more into a playmaker than a scorer.
With the clamps coming on the superstar, coupled with minimal second-chance points due to the Raptors' ability to clean the glass, Jokic will be bottled up tonight.
