Although Philadelphia Phillies’ starter Ranger Suarez is 4-1 on the year with a 2.70 ERA and a 1.13 WHIP, there is one emerging trend that gives me confidence in the Jays' betting market tonight... and that’s the Ernie Clement prop market.
The Toronto Blue Jays' utility infielder is hitting .400 on the year with an OPS of 1.198 against left-handed pitching. Clement’s slug rate also jumps from .265 to .750, with 13 of his 24 hits vs. southpaws going for extra bases.
Over Clement’s last 13 games, he’s hitting .385 with a .692 slugging percentage and 10 extra-base hits, seven of which have been doubles.
As for the pitching matchup, Suarez has struggled at home this year with a 4.37 ERA, allowing 11 of his 13 total earned runs at Citizens Bank Park.
He’s also given up far more production to right-handed batters, with Suarez's OPS jumping from .431 to .639, and all seven of his extra-base hits have been surrendered against righties.

I’ll continue to pound the trends and take Alejandro Kirk to hit a single. He’s hitting .447 in June with hits in all but one game, racking up 11 singles during this nine-game stretch.
Meanwhile, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. sports a .341 OBP over his last nine games and has come around to score seven times in that stretch.
