The Winnipeg Jets continue their road trip on Wednesday night against the Los Angeles Kings at Cryopto.com arena.
The Jets' four-game winning streak came to an unexpected end last night with a 2-1 loss in San Jose, and Los Angeles is looking to bounce back from two straight losses as it returns home. NHL odds have pegged L.A. as a home fave with the total at a flat 6.0

The Los Angeles Kings and Winnipeg Jets are among the best defensive teams in the league, with L.A. allowing a league-low 2.32 goals per game with the Jets not too far behind at 2.65.
While both of these teams are also among the Top 12 in scoring, this hasn't been the case recently.
The Jets' 2-1 loss in San Jose Tuesday night was their 10th straight game that had six goals or fewer, and there have been just 4.1 goals per contest in that span. As for Winnipeg’s offense, it's going to continue to struggle with Kyle Connor out of the lineup — the team's leading scorer with 17 goals and 28 points in 26 games.
Los Angeles has been the best defensive team in the league this season and that’s resulted in a lot of low-scoring games. Unfortunately, the Kings came up short 4-1 against the Rangers last time out.
"A lot of things have been going our way, so it's nice to have a little adversity," Kings defenseman Mikey Anderson said. "We've got faith in our leaders, the guys that have been here a long, long time. They right the ship. I don't think there is going to be any sense of panic or anything in the group. We trust what we have here. We trust what we're doing. Get back in L.A. and get back to working, figure some things out."
The Kings have gone Under 6.5 goals in three straight, moving their O/U mark to 10-15 on the year.
It should also be a good goalie battle tonight with Connor Hellebuyck (13-6-1, 2.45 GAA, .915 SV%) set to face off against Cam Talbot (12-4-2, 1.91 GAA, .931 SV%). Hellebuyck is always in the Vezina Trophy odds conversation and Talbot is proving to be a potential candidate playing behind the Kings’ stout defense.
This is a game where we could see a 2-1 or 3-2 final score with the alternate Unders as options. However, the best bet for this game is simply taking the Under 6 at +100.
