The reigning Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles remain in the driver’s seat of the NFC East despite a three-game losing streak, so a date with the 2-11 Las Vegas Raiders at Lincoln Financial Field is the perfect opportunity to return to the win column.

My Raiders vs. Eagles predictions are calling for Philly star receiver A.J. Brown to play a leading role in pulling away from Vegas.

Raiders vs Eagles prediction

Raiders vs Eagles Best bet: A.J. Brown Over 63.5 receiving yards (-114)

The Philadelphia Eagles are force-feeding wide receiver A.J. Brown the football with double-digit targets in four consecutive games, and he’s hauled in 24 passes for 342 yards to hit triple-digit receiving yards in three straight.

He’s averaged 14.3 yards per reception during the three-game heater, and the Las Vegas Raiders are from an intimidating opponent.

Las Vegas ranks 30th in PFF coverage grade, allowing the second-highest catch rate and a healthy 7.97 yards per target to opposing wideouts. The Raiders have also surrendered the 10th-highest dropback success rate, offering little resistance through the air.

I also value that Brown has the size advantage over cornerback Eric Stokes, who’s likely to shadow the Philly star.

Raiders vs Eagles same-game parlay

I’m expecting the Eagles to show up and pull away from the Raiders. Las Vegas is turning to Kenny Pickett for his first start of the season, and even with a three-game losing streak, the Philly defense still ranks eighth in defensive DVOA and has allowed the ninth-fewest points per game.

Although Saquon Barkley has just seven touchdowns through 13 games, he scored 15 in his first season with the Eagles. Barkley found the end zone last week, and the Raiders are tied for the third-most rushing touchdowns allowed to running backs this season — including five over the past three weeks.
