NFL Divisional Round Bet Now or Bet Later Picks: Niners, Seahawks Grind Out Another Low-Scoring Game

The 49ers and Seahawks played to a 13-3 final just a couple of short weeks ago, with the NFC's top seed on the line. Now, with a total of 46.5, the Under is the only play.

Los Angeles Rams (-4.5) at Chicago Bears: Bet Later

The betting market has mixed emotions about the Chicago Bears and their ability to come from behind. That said, the half-point hook on four is troublesome if you like the Los Angeles Rams in this matchup.

Four is an undervalued key number in NFL betting, and we often see 4-point favorites winning outright but coming up short against the spread.

The current vig on L.A. -4.5 is cheaper at most books, indicating a possible move to -4 if support comes in for the home side.

The Rams do have to travel for a second straight week and play in what will likely be wintry weather in Chitown. On top of that, veteran QB Matthew Stafford is playing through a finger injury on his throwing hand, suffered in Saturday’s close call in Carolina.

If you like Los Angeles, wait and see if this spread comes off the -4.5 and maybe – just maybe – flirts with -3.5. If not, avoid the points and shop for the cheapest moneyline price (-190 as of this writing).

San Francisco 49ers at Seattle Seahawks (Under 46.5): Bet Now

-105 at DraftKings

The San Francisco 49ers pulled off the upset in Philadelphia thanks to a solid defensive showing from a stop unit ravaged by injuries. That win pits San Francisco against the Seattle Seahawks for the second time in three weeks.

These NFC West rivals clashed in a battle for the top seed in Week 18, with the Seahawks winning a 13-3 grinder.

The Niners managed only nine first downs and 173 total yards on offense while Seattle dominated possession for almost 38 minutes, anchored in a rushing attack going for 180 yards.

The venue swings to the Pacific Northwest for the Divisional Round, where the weather can be dicey this time of year. The 49ers are also missing star TE George Kittle, who suffered an Achilles injury in the Wild Card Round.

If you think we’ll see more of the same from these divisional rivals, grab the Under 46.5 now. The next key stop will be 44 points, and books will move fast if one-sided money shows on the Under.
