The Orioles will struggle to string much offense together against Yankees starter Max Fried, opening the door for a convincing victory for the visitors.

The New York Yankees snapped a four-game losing streak last night and will look to win a series when they wrap up a three-game set with the Baltimore Orioles.

Max Fried will grab the ball for the Yankees, and that usually means good things for New York. We expect that to be the case today.

Who will win Yankees vs Orioles today: Yankees -1.5 (+100)

Kyle Bradish has a poor matchup in this spot today.

The metrics tell the story pretty plainly: the Baltimore Orioles right-hander's run value grades in the 20th percentile across his fastball, breaking ball, and overall pitching.

What's even more relevant to this matchup against the New York Yankees is his putrid barrel rate that sits in the 17th percentile of the sport. These are the pitchers that the Yankees typically have their way with.

On the other side, Max Fried pretty much speaks for himself as one of the AL's sturdiest starters. I projected this at -144 and would play it down to -130 for two units.

Covers COVERS INTEL: Bradish's 11.9% walk rate ranks in the 21st percentile, which further puts his back against the wall when facing a patient Yankees lineup.

Yankees vs Orioles Over/Under pick: Under 8.5 (+100)

I’m not sold that Baltimore scores against Fried.

The Orioles' hitting profile hasn’t changed much from a season ago, and the last time he faced them in Camden Yards, Fried posted seven scoreless innings.

Asking for that again is clearly a bit much, but his Top-10 percentile barrel rate should play well against a team so power-reliant.

With that in mind, I lean toward the Under, projecting a total of 8.2. Bradish is exploitable enough, but he can induce a high number of ground balls, which should limit the bottom of the Yankees lineup.
