The Philadelphia Eagles have been heating up over the past month, with their defense propelling them to four straight wins heading into Sunday’s NFC East showdown against the Dallas Cowboys.

Although Dallas is riding the high of an emotional Monday night win over Las Vegas, a short week and a massive step up in competition give the defending champs the upper hand at Jerry World.

Expert Week 12 NFL moneyline picks

Bills vs. Texans: Texans Texans (+225)

As dreadful as the Houston Texans offense has been, the Buffalo Bills defense hasn’t been much better in 2025. Meanwhile, the Texans defense ranks first in the NFL in points allowed per game (16.3).

Josh Allen will be under heavy duress with Will Anderson Jr. and Danielle Hunter coming off the edge, and Houston shouldn’t be this sizable of a home dog.

Vikings vs. Packers: Packers Packers (-310)

It’s already time to call it on J.J. McCarthy being a franchise quarterback. His flaws were seriously protected at Michigan, and Kevin O’Connell’s team is going to miss the playoffs solely because of its rookie pivot.

It’s a shame, because on paper, the Minnesota Vikings have a Top-5 roster when you remove the QB position. The Green Bay Packers prevail at Lambeau.

Colts vs. Chiefs: Colts Colts (+152)

The Indianapolis Colts have had an extra week to prepare, and there’s a chance Charvarius Ward returns from a concussion, joining a cornerback room that already includes Pro Bowlers Sauce Gardner and Kenny Moore II.

The Colts offense is loaded top to bottom, and Indy will chew up the clock with Jonathan Taylor, keeping the Kansas City Chiefs offense off the field.

Patriots vs. Bengals: Patriots Patriots (-420)

Drake Maye boasts a 20–5 TD–INT ratio this season, and TreVeyon Henderson has established himself as the New England Patriots' RB1. The duo will pick apart a Cincinnati Bengals D that ranks dead last in yards allowed per game (426.0).

Considering the remainder of the Patriots' schedule, they might run away with the No. 1 seed in the AFC.

Steelers vs. Bears: Bears Bears (-146)

According to Ian Rapoport, Aaron Rodgers is pushing to play in Week 12, but the 41-year-old has looked pretty ordinary over the last few weeks. I could see the Pittsburgh Steelers playing it safe and rolling with Mason Rudolph on Sunday.

The Chicago Bears are rolling on the back of three consecutive dubs, and they'll keep the good juju going at home.

Jets vs. Ravens: Ravens Ravens (-1150)

The New York Jets have opted to bench Justin Fields in favor of Tyrod Taylor. Still, they’ll be no match for a Baltimore Ravens defense that has kicked into another gear, surrendering fewer than 20 points in five consecutive contests.

Baltimore's win streak extends to five in Week 12.

Giants vs. Lions: Lions Lions (-600)

Jared Goff and the Detroit Lions were completely shut down on SNF against Philadelphia, but the New York Giants defense remains abysmal, ranking 29th in both total yards and points allowed per game.

New York is 0-6 on the road, and Detroit will regain its footing at Ford Field with a convincing win.

Seahawks vs. Titans: Seahawks Seahawks (-1150)

As bad as Sam Darnold looked in the Seattle Seahawks' loss to the Rams, the fact that they still had a chance at the end shows how elite that defense is.

Cam Ward is in for a miserable day against Seattle's stop unit, and facing the rebuilding Tennessee Titans gives Darnold a nice shot in the arm.

Jaguars vs. Cardinals: Jaguars Jaguars (-146)

From week to week, it's hard to know what type of Jacksonville Jaguars team we're going to get, but they'll get my blessing on this occasion.

The Arizona Cardinals remain extremely banged up on both sides of the ball, so I'm siding with the short road favorite.

Browns vs. Raiders: Browns Browns (+152)

It looks like Shedeur Sanders will make his first career start against a team many had him mocked to before the draft. The Cleveland Browns will go run-heavy with Quinshon Judkins and limit Sanders to a game-manager role in Sin City.

Myles Garrett and the Browns defense continue to keep them in games, and they’ll feast on Geno Smith, who has thrown more interceptions than touchdowns this season.

Eagles vs. Cowboys: Eagles Eagles (-174)

Hand up: The Dallas Cowboys looked great with the additions of DT Quinnen Williams and LB Logan Wilson, plus the return of pass rusher DeMarvion Overshown.

But right now, the Philadelphia Eagles’ stop unit is the best in all of football, and Dallas’ reinforcements won’t be enough to upset the defending champs.

Falcons vs. Saints: Saints Saints (-126)

Michael Penix Jr. is sidelined for at least the next four games, and superstar wideout Drake London is also out for this NFC South matchup with a PCL sprain.

Fresh off a win and subsequent bye, the New Orleans Saints will have a leg up on an Atlanta Falcons team whose season has quickly come off the rails after five straight losses.

Buccaneers vs. Rams: Rams Rams (-330)

It’s too bad the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are riddled with injuries, or this would be an incredible playoff preview on Sunday.

Tampa Bay’s defense was gashed yet again in Buffalo, and the Los Angeles Rams offense will be champing at the bit for a bounce-back performance after sputtering against Seattle last week.

All signs point toward Matthew Stafford & Co. pulling away in the second half.

Panthers vs. 49ers: 49ers 49ers (-340)

The Carolina Panthers are a fun story, but Kyle Shanahan is 2-0 in prime time this year, and Brock Purdy looked extremely sharp in his return against Arizona.

The San Francisco 49ers improve to 8-4, keeping their season intact despite all the injuries endured.

My NFL moneyline record is 104-60 this season for +2.47 units.
