The Chiefs will put their perfect 4-0 record on the line tonight when they host the Saints at Arrowhead Stadium.

The defending Super Bowl champs have been the class of the NFL through the first four weeks of the season thanks to the steady play of two-time MVP Patrick Mahomes as well as a rock-solid defense that ranks eighth in points against.

KC's D will get tested tonight against a 2-2 New Orleans squad that leads all teams in scoring at 31.8 points per game and is ninth in yards. Credit goes to Saints QB Derek Carr, who appears to have found his groove in his second season with the franchise.

What is Monday Night Football?

Monday Night Football provides fans with an exhilarating start to the week, serving as a primetime showcase for NFL action. The tradition began in September 1970, when the NFL introduced MNF as a centerpiece of its weekly broadcast schedule. This move was aimed at bringing the excitement of football to a broader audience and offering fans a thrilling conclusion to the week’s games. Initially broadcast on ABC, Monday Night Football quickly became a cultural phenomenon and a staple of American sports entertainment.

As the years have progressed, Monday Night Football has undergone several changes to enhance its reach and appeal. In 2006, the NFL reached a significant agreement with ESPN, transitioning the broadcast rights to cable television. This shift allowed for more extensive coverage and introduced new features to the show, including enhanced graphics and in-depth analysis.
