Best Texas vs Oklahoma touchdown picks

Texas touchdown pick: Cam Coleman

Prized offseason acquisition Cam Coleman has found the box four times already this season. His 6-foot-3 frame, vertical athleticism, and enormous hands make him a prototype red zone threat.

That's a godsend for a program that has struggled in short yardage and goal line situations for multiple seasons. Expect Arch Manning to continue looking Coleman's way deep into opposing teams' territory.

Coleman notched two receiving touchdowns against Texas State in the opener, and then again against UTSA. He's a threat to find paydirt against Oklahoma, especially since Texas' line will struggle to pave lanes for the rushing attack, ranking 113th in line yards, against Oklahoma's front (seventh in rushing success rate allowed).

Oklahoma touchdown pick: Isaiah Sategna III

The Oklahoma offense starts and ends with Isaiah Sategna III. The star wideout racked up 965 yards and eight scores a year ago, and he'll be needed to jumpstart a lackluster offense.

Sategna has 30 targets through four games, which is 19 more than any other Sooner wide receiver. He's the clear alpha in the room, and he'll gobble up targets in this rivalry game.

The speedster averages 2.36 yards per route run, so he pairs efficiency with volume. Texas has a solid defense, but the secondary isn't unbeatable, ranking 40th in PFF's coverage grade and 42nd in passing explosiveness allowed.

Long-shot touchdown pick: Hayden Hansen

Alright, you want to get a little "out there" and take a long shot? How about Oklahoma tight end Hayden Hansen, a 6-foot-8 mammoth who represents a red-zone target.

The Florida transfer is on the field plenty (fourth-most among pass catchers), and flashed in the New Mexico game with 49 yards and a score. He was the No. 2 tight end in the most recent portal cycle, per 247, and many think the former basketball player is only scratching the surface of his potential.

Tight end coach Jason Witten has spoken highly of Hansen, and you can buy low on him by taking one of the longest TD shots on the board.

Texas vs Oklahoma touchdown combo

This is a correlated combo, because if Coleman finds the box first, then Texas will be playing with a lead, which benefits running back Hollywood Smothers.

The NC State transfer has been banged up, and therefore hasn't truly broken out, but he's back healthy after the bye week and is ready to show out.

Hollywood averages 3.44 yards after contact per attempt and has a 31.7% broken tackle rate. He's also used in the passing game (seven receptions for 54 yards in three games), so he has multiple avenues for crossing the goal line.
