The Atlanta Hawks beat the Washington Wizards by 15 on Wednesday night behind an impressive shooting performance and a dominant showing on the boards.
Atlanta holds a clear edge in both categories. The Hawks rank 14th in three-point percentage and 12th in rebounding, while Washington sits 29th and 26th, respectively. Atlanta also outrebounded the Wizards 57-41 and drained 13 more triples on Wednesday.
Most importantly, Anthony Davis is questionable tonight due to an ankle sprain. His potential absence would make Washington even more vulnerable inside, although Atlanta still won comfortably despite AD scoring 26 earlier this week.
The Hawks have won two straight without Jalen Johnson, and I'll back them to cover again at home.
COVERS INTEL: Atlanta ranks fourth in the NBA in opponent turnover percentage, while Washington sits 26th. The Hawks' ability to force turnovers could create additional scoring opportunities and help them pull away.
Wizards vs Hawks combo
The Hawks and Wizards combined for 225 points in Wednesday's matchup, narrowly missing this total. Atlanta plays at a fast pace and is averaging 115.8 points per game, while Washington's defensive struggles should create plenty of scoring opportunities. Expect a slightly higher-scoring rematch that pushes this game Over 228.5.
Nickeil Alexander-Walker has been shooting the rock at a ridiculously efficient rate. The guard is 15-for-29 from long range across his last two games. Alexander-Walker drained six triples against Washington earlier in the week, and hit another nine treys against Indiana just days prior. With high volume and a 40.7% clip from deep, 4+ makes is attainable.

Wizards player prop: Kyshawn George Over 1.5 threes
Play up to 63%.
Kyshawn George isn't an elite three-point shooter, but he's been finding a rhythm lately, and his volume has increased significantly.
The forward has attempted at least seven triples in three straight outings, and George has drained four in two of those games and three in the other against Atlanta.
His long-range confidence is clearly growing, and if AD does sit, that will mean more of an offensive load for the 22-year-old.
Just two makes from beyond the arc is very realistic tonight.
Hawks player prop: Nickeil Alexander-Walker Over 19.5 points
Play up to 63%.
I'm sticking with Alexander-Walker. He's been Atlanta's main option with Johnson sidelined, and the Canadian has taken full advantage of the increased workload.
Alexander-Walker has easily cleared this line in consecutive games, pouring in 34 against the Pacers and 26 vs. Washington on Wednesday.
Johnson missed both contests, and it was the first time this season Alexander-Walker had 20+ field goal attempts. He has 25 in Indiana and 20 in DC.
With Johnson most likely out again, expect another impressive performance from Alexander-Walker. But even if Johnson does suit up, 20+ is still realistic for Atlanta's shooting guard.
