Prop pick #1: Connor McDavid Over 1.5 points

Novig probability: 57%

Play up to 62%.

Connor McDavid has already reached 31 points, and the Edmonton Oilers are only 10 games in. The superstar is on an absolute tear, piling up 13 points in his last three contests, including two five-point performances.

In fact, the three-time Hart Trophy winner has eight multi-point games already this season. He's accounted for a ridiculous 67.4% of Edmonton's goals, and 18 of his 23 assists have been primary helpers.

With 15 high-danger chances as well, McDavid has multiple avenues to another multi-point night against the vulnerable Toronto Maple Leafs, who rank 18th in goals allowed.

  • Matchup: Maple Leafs vs. Oilers
  • Time: 7 p.m. ET
  • Location: Rogers Place, Edmonton, AB
  • TV: ESPN+

Prop pick #2: David Pastrnak Over 0.5 assists

Novig probability: 59%

Play up to 63%.

David Pastrnak has been key in the Boston Bruins' hot start. The Czechia native leads the team by a mile with 16 points, including 10 assists.

Pastrnak has notched eight primary assists, highlighting just how consistently he's been involved in Boston's scoring opportunities. The veteran is also averaging 2.78 assists per 60 minutes, which ranks first on the Bruins roster.

Boston has scored nearly half its goals with Pastrnak on the ice, and he leads the team in on-ice high-danger chances. With three helpers in his last three games and the San Jose Sharks allowing 3.27 goals per contest, I like Pastrnak to stay busy this evening.

  • Matchup: Sharks vs. Bruins
  • Time: 7 p.m. ET
  • Location: TD Garden
  • TV: ESPN+

Goal scorer pick: Kirill Kaprizov

Novig probability: 50%

Play up to 55%.

Kirill Kaprizov is the top dog in the NHL with 11 goals to his name. The Minnesota Wild superstar has found the back of the net in four of his last five contests, and even though he didn't score on Thursday against the Flames, Kaprizov still registered four SOG.

Tonight, the Wild take on the Seattle Kraken, who are 24th in goals allowed and 30th in SOG conceded. Kaprizov leads Minnesota in unblocked shot attempts, individual scoring chances, and individual high-danger scoring chances.

For what it's worth, he's also scored six in 12 career meetings with Seattle.

  • Matchup: Wild vs. Kraken
  • Time: 9 p.m. ET
  • Location: Climate Pledge Arena, Seattle, WA
  • TV: ESPN+
