Opening NFL Week 7 Odds and Betting Lines: Vikes +2.5 vs. Eagles

The Vikings are underdogs at home against the Eagles in Week 7. And while Philly is the reigning Super Bowl champ, it also just lost to the Giants in Week 6. The early odds break down the whole slate below.

NFL Week 7 opens with a Thursday Night Football clash between AFC North rivals, the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cincinnati Bengals.

We've got another international contest on tap for Sunday morning, when the Los Angeles Rams and Jacksonville Jaguars face off at London's Wembley Stadium.

The biggest game on Sunday's slate is arguably the Philadelphia Eagles looking to avenge their upset loss to the New York Giants by taking on the Minnesota Vikings as road favorites.

The day wraps with the Atlanta Falcons and San Francisco 49ers on Sunday Night Football before giving way to another Monday doubleheader: Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Detroit Lions and Houston Texans at Seattle Seahawks.

Steelers vs Bengals odds (Thursday, 8:15 p.m., Prime Video)

Opening line

The Steelers opened as big as 6.5-point favorites for Thursday Night Football and that line settled at -5.5 across the industry. The vig on that is climbing, so a move to Pittsburgh -6 could be on the way. The Bengals have a notable injury to watch in pass rusher Trey Hendrickson, who left Week 6 (back). The total opened at 40.5 and jumped to 41.5 points.

Rams vs Jaguars odds (Sunday, 9:30 a.m., NFL Network)

Opening line

It’s a very early wake-up call for the Rams, who face the Jaguars at Wembley Stadium in London in Week 7. Los Angeles opened as a 3-point neutral-site favorite but the ankle injury to star WR Puka Nacua could drag this line down. The total opened at 46.5 points and shrank to 45.5 O/U.

Patriots vs Titans odds (Sunday, 1:00 p.m., CBS)

Opening line

The Patriots opened as 6.5-point road chalk in Tennessee and some books have gone to the key number of a touchdown on this spread. The Titans could be without WR1 Calvin Ridley after he left Week 6’s loss (hamstring). The total opened at 41.5 points.

Opening line

Chicago squeaked out a win on Monday but has a short week to prep for the Saints at home in Week 7. The Bears opened as 4.5-point favorites while the total hit the board at 45.5 points.

Opening line

The Browns are 2.5-point home favorites hosting the Dolphins in Week 7. However, there were several injuries on both sides of the ball come out of Sunday’s game, including TE David Njoku. This Over/Under opened at 40.5 and dropped to 39.5 points.

Panthers vs Jets odds (Sunday, 1:00 p.m., FOX)

Opening line

The Jets don’t get a break after a bad showing in London in Week 6. New York opened as a 1.5-point home favorite hosting Carolina and some books have moved this spread to -1, with an injury to WR Garrett Wilson standing out. The Over/Under hit the board at 44.5 points and is down to 43.5 O/U.

Opening line

The Vikings have had two weeks to prepare for the Eagles and rest up a roster loaded with injuries. Minnesota is still unsure of its starting QB for this monster matchup, with J.J. McCarthy still on the mend. Philadelphia is coming off a mini bye after an upset loss to the Giants last Thursday and opened as 2.5-point road chalk. The total has bounced between 41.5 and 42.5 points since opening.

Opening line

The Chiefs came up big with a dominating win over Detroit on Sunday night and open as beefy 10.5-point favorites vs. the rival Raiders in Week 7. The total hit the board at 45.5 points.

Opening line

Opening line

The Packers didn’t exactly impress in their Week 6 win over Cincinnati, while the Cardinals kept fighting against the Colts despite star QB Kyler Murray watching from the sideline. Green Bay opened as a 6.5-point road favorite with the total at 43.5 points. On top of Murray’s health concerns, Arizona could be missing WR1 Marvin Harrison Jr. (concussion) in Week 7.

Falcons vs 49ers odds (Sunday, 8:20 p.m., NBC)

Opening line

The Falcons are coming off their biggest win of the season but have a short turnaround to get ready for the 49ers. Atlanta opened -3 and vig on the field goal is rising, indicating a possible hook coming later in the week. This total hit the board at 45.5 and jumped to 46.5 points. San Francisco is hoping to have QB Brock Purdy, WR Ricky Pearsall and TE George Kittle back in action this weekend.

Buccaneers vs Lions odds (Monday, 7:00 p.m., ABC/ESPN)

Opening line

Detroit got smacked around by the Chiefs on Sunday night and has another tough matchup on Monday Night Football in Week 7. Tampa Bay comes to the Motor City as a 5.5-point road underdog. The extra day of rest will do both sides some good, as they have starters on both sides trying to get back on the field. The total opened at 52.5 and climbed to 53.5 points.

Opening line

Seattle opened as a 3.5-point home favorite for this Monday Night Football matchup with the Texans, who are coming off a bye. The Over/Under opened at 41.5 points and has since dipped to 40.5 O/U. Keep a close eye on the injury updates in a depleted Seattle secondary in Week 7.
