My Seahawks vs. Broncos prediction backs the defending champs to bounce back on Thursday Night Football as Seattle heads to Denver as a 2.5-point road favorite.
Kickoff is set for 8:15 p.m. ET on Oct. 15 at Empower Field at Mile High, with the total sitting at 40.5.
My latest NFL picks also feature a three-leg combo and an anytime touchdown scorer for Thursday Night Football.

Seahawks vs Broncos prediction: Seahawks -2.5
This defense against this quarterback, with the desperate defending champions laying less than a field goal? Sign me up!
The Seattle Seahawks lead the NFL in yards allowed per play, while the Denver Broncos rank 26th in that category offensively.
Moving the ball will be a challenge, particularly with Bo Nix showing serious signs of regression. He’s failed to reach 190 passing yards in three of five games, and his 80.8 passer rating doesn’t exactly keep defensive coordinators working late into the night.
With San Francisco now two games ahead in the NFC West, Seattle needs a response. The champs are 4-0 SU after a loss since the start of last season, while Denver is 1-4 ATS on Thursdays under Sean Payton.
Thursday nights occasionally get weird — see last week, for example — but I can’t ignore the mountain of evidence pointing toward Seattle.

Seahawks vs Broncos combo
Seattle’s defensive advantage drives the first two legs. Denver’s passing attack is stuck in reverse, with Nix throwing for a pitiful 123 yards against the Chargers last week.
Now he gets a Seahawks defense that has kept every opposing QB below the 200-yard mark and allows the fewest yards per pass attempt in football. That’s a brutal assignment for a quarterback struggling to stretch the field.
AJ Barner rounds out the combo against a defense surrendering 62.6 receiving yards per game to tight ends. He ranks third on the team in receiving yards and second in targets, giving us an established option with a modest number to clear. Twenty-one yards? We’re hardly asking him to impersonate prime Gronk.
Seahawks vs Broncos combo
- Seahawks moneyline
- Bo Nix Under 202.5 passing yards
- AJ Barner Over 20.5 receiving yards
Seahawks vs Broncos touchdown scorer: Bo Nix
Seattle’s defense has one surprising soft spot: preventing opponents from scoring touchdowns once they reach the red zone. The Seahawks rank 26th in opponent red-zone touchdown percentage, leaving an opening for Denver to cash in close.
J.K. Dobbins will attract attention, but I prefer Nix’s bigger payout at 17%. His seven red-zone rushing attempts are only four behind Dobbins. We don’t need Nix to suddenly become a competent downfield passer. We just need him to tuck it and steal a touchdown.
