Week 6 was moving week in the Covers Staff Parlay and Teaser Picks competition, as our publishing editors rode parlay wins to a shakeup atop the leader board.

Rookie standouts AJ Salah and Jared Hochman leapfrogged into first and second place, respectively, with Jared smashing a grand-slam parlay that broke him out of the league basement.

Operation #TakeDownTaco was thus a huge success, as reigning champ and oh-so-brief 2020 leader Andrew Caley plots his revenge...

Let's get into our Week 7 picks:

Teaser Picks Week 7

Andrew Caley, Senior Editor (@Covers_Caley) ***Defending Champion***

A rare loss for the Champ. But as champs do, we'll quickly bounce back. There is a snow-verecation to the total in Denver. The first battle of Ohio between Burrow and Mayfield should produce points. And the Jets are hot garbage. Lock in another win.

PICK: 6-point teaser (Kansas City-Denver Over 39.5, Cleveland-Cincinnati Over 44.5, Bills -6.5) +160
Season: +3.02 units

Jason Logan, Senior Industry Analyst (@CoversJLo)

Taking some totals for a walk with a 6-point teaser. The weather is supposed to be frightful in Denver, so ticking the Chiefs-Broncos total up to 51.5 and going Under. Doing the same to the Panthers-Saints total (Under 57) and Bears-Rams on Monday night (Under 51). Nothing gets the blood pumping like cheering for no points.

PICK: 6-point teaser KC-Denver Under 51.5, Carolina-New Orleans Under 57, Chicago-Rams Under 51 +160
Season: -1.4 units

Rob Hansen, Content Coordinator (@Mookie_45)

There once was an NFL team based in Seattle
Who had a bye week but are back in the saddle.
It’s Wilson vs. Murray.
The scoring could come in a hurry.
Take the Seahawks to win this divisional battle.

PICK: 7-point teaser (Seahawks +3.5, SEA/ARI Over 49, Cowboys +7, Jets +20.5) +180
Season: +1.8 units

Rohit Ponnaiya, Digital Content Producer (@Covers_Ro)

Dallas is bad, especially without Dak Prescott slinging the ball, but they're not Washington bad. Talk about an over-reaction, the Packers lost their first game of the season last week in ugly fashion, but I'll take them and 2.5 points against a 1-4 Texans squad. And the Bears defense is too good to spot them 12 points against a Rams team that has only defeated teams in the NFC East so far this year.

PICK: 3 team, six-point teaser (Dallas +6, Green Bay +3.5, Chicago +12)  +160
Season: +1.8 units

Jameson Mossman, Social Media Coordinator (@Covers_JaMo)

Ugh…two weeks in a row of missing by just one pick.
Pittsburgh could very easily beat Tennessee this but should keep it within 7 points. Herbert can score and should do that more than the Jags. Oakland may have trouble scoring as they are now dealing with COVID on their entire O-line. Finally, Detroit and Atlanta look primed for a shootout this week. Need to get back in this thing!

PICK: (Pittsburgh +7, Chargers -1.5, Tampa Bay/Oakland Under 58, Detroit/Atlanta Over 49) +265
Season: -3.4 units

Josh Inglis, NFL Writer (@inglis_josh4)

Ok girls and ghouls, we have almost dug ourselves out of the hole with back-to-back +160 wins. Week 7 is the week we get into the black.

We are betting against Sean Payton's ego and his over-use of Taysom Hill, taking the league's second-best DVOA defense by more than a TD and getting a Bears defense that has allowed 20-points or more just once since Week 2 by nearly two TDs. See ya at the gate.

PICK: 7-point teaser (Carolina +14, Pittsburgh +8, Chicago +13) +120
Season: -0.8 units

Parlay Picks Week 7

Brandon DuBreuil, Content Manager (@CoversBD)

Three straight weeks with one leg breaking the parlay (damn Cowboys!). This week, taking the Bucs and Browns on the moneyline: Baker is healthier and Vegas is very banged up. Also moving a couple big spreads through key numbers with Buffalo -5.5 and Jacksonville +14.

PICK: Cleveland ML, Tampa Bay ML, Buffalo -5.5, Jacksonville +14 (+359)
Season: -0.92 units

AJ Salah, Publishing Editor (@Salas42_)

Made quick work of Operation #TakeDownTaco, stinging last week's parlay to vault us into first (for now). With a little breathing room at the top, time to make 'em sweat.

Fading the Jets for fairly obvious reasons against a Bills team that could use a punching bag. Siding with the Steelers vs. Titans, based on both history and Tennessee's somewhat-deceiving 5-0 record. Bucking the Texans, their atrocious run-D, and a questionable spread seems like a nice way to round this out.

PICK: Buffalo -12, Pittsburgh +1, Green Bay -3.5 (+628)
Season: +7.08 units

Patrick Everson, Senior Writer (@Covers_Vegas)

Two out of three last week, with the Titans and Steelers winning/cashing. But 2-for-3 doesn’t feed the bulldog on parlays, as the Cowboys ineptly displayed against the Cardinals. Maybe this week will provide the breakthrough. Packers –3.5 at Titans. I expect a big bounce-back from Aaron Rodgers, after a blowout loss to the Bucs. Patriots -2 vs 49ers. New England off an awful home performance, playing at home again, 49ers traveling cross-country. All the Pats have to do is win by a field goal. Sold! Cardinals +3.5 vs Seahawks. I actually like Arizona outright, in the now-Sunday night game. But I’ll play it safe and take the points.

PICK: Green Bay -3.5, New England -2, Arizona +3.5 (+596)
Season: -2.36 units

Jared Hochman, Publishing Editor (@JLHoch)

Now that’s what I’m talking about! All it took was a four-pick parlay to go from a Week 6 basement zero to a Week 7 hero! Easy as stove top stuffing (which can be eaten anytime—don’t @ me).

Now that I’m near the front of the pack, we’re going to scale it back with just a three-pick parlay, but sticking with my bread and butter (and onions and celery and carrots): delicious derivatives!

PICK: Detroit 1H TT O13.5, Buffalo 1Q -3, Green Bay 1Q -0.5 (+583)
Season: +4.94 units
