Kalshi traders are giving the Los Angeles Rams a 73% chance of beating the New York Giants straight up on Monday Night Football. The Rams are slight favorites to cover the 6.5-point spread and win by 7 or more points, with a 52% probability to cover.

The Giants will run the clock with a new-look offense that finished second in Week 1 in success rate, and they face a Rams defense without Myles Garrett that ranks third-worst in success rate. The Giants will sustain drives, but finishing them won't be as easy as it was last week.
The Rams' offense does not scare me from an explosive-play standpoint. They ran 3-TE sets at a 38% rate in Week 1, the second-highest mark, and still had a -13.89 pass rate over expected in a losing effort. That's a lot of running and a lot of tight ends. This projects as a slow game, and the Rams could still need some time to get up to 2026 speed on offense.

Context: QB gap explains the number
The Rams struggled offensively in Australia, and QB Matthew Stafford will be looking to get on track at home against a Giants defense that ranked 28th in EPA allowed per dropback in Week 1 — a number that looks worse on paper than New York's actual performance, since a ball-control offensive game plan against Dallas limited defensive snaps rather than reflecting bad defense.
Still, the Giants also lost multiple defensive backs to injury this week and had to sign two cornerbacks off the street, which plays directly into a Rams offense that leaned heavily on 3-TE sets and a run-first approach in Week 1.
The headline story, though, is Aaron Donald. His return — on a one-year deal that can max out around $30 million — instantly reshapes the Rams' front with reigning Defensive Player of the Year Myles Garrett landing on IR after Week 1.
