The complete collapse of the Baltimore Ravens’ quarterback position has taken the shine off Thursday’s matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
With Lamar Jackson and backup Tyler Huntley done for the season, Baltimore marches QB3 Joe Fagnano to face a Jacksonville squad pushing for the top spot in the AFC.
But even with this spread swelling, my Jaguars vs. Ravens combos keep things interesting on TNF. I’m tying my best NFL picks together in prime time to kick off Week 9.

Jaguars vs Ravens combo
The Baltimore Ravens are a prideful team, but the short week is just too much to overcome, considering they’re down to their third-string QB. The Jacksonville Jaguars are one of the NFL's better two-way teams and don’t shrink as favorites.
With third-stringer Joe Fagnano under center, the Ravens will have trouble moving the chains and find themselves in plenty of third-down spots.
Running back Justice Hill is the third-down RB, and backup QBs love to lean on pass-catching RBs as safe and short options.
With Bhayshul Tuten dinged up, Chris Rodriguez Jr. will see extra touches, especially as the Jags run out the clock in the second half. C-Rod will get some goal line snaps and busts into the end zone on TNF.
Jaguars vs Ravens touchdown combo
On top of Rodriguez scoring a touchdown on Thursday night, we turn to his counterpart on the Ravens. With the passing game in bad shape, Derrick Henry shoulders the load for Baltimore. Any chance the Ravens get to sniff the goal line, Henry is getting the ball.
If the Jaguars are going to cover this lofty spread, they’ll need plenty of points. Parker Washington has four touchdowns on the season and leads Jacksonville’s WRs with eight red-zone targets.
Jaguars vs Ravens milestone combo
The Ravens’ receiving props are on shaky ground, but Rashod Bateman is a big playmaker, averaging 20.5 air yards per reception. If there is a soft spot on this Jaguars defense, it’s giving up explosive passing plays.
Trevor Lawrence can move when he has to, and with Baltimore’s defense going for broke, expect a ton of pressure on the Jacksonville QB. His rushing yard models sit as high as 20+ yards on TNF. Baltimore has allowed the ninth-most rushing yards to rival QBs this season.
Jakobi Meyers could draw a backup in coverage, with Ravens DB Nate Wiggins listed as questionable and starting safety Jaylinn Hawkins sitting out. His projections sit between 45 and 52 yards for Week 9.
