The Baltimore Ravens may have dominated on offense against the Buffalo Bills in Week 1, but they remain winless due to some defensive lapses.

My Browns vs. Ravens predictions will explain why there may not be too much to fear for Baltimore in this matchup, and how the home side can secure a statement win.

Read below for my free NFL picks for Sunday, September 14.

Browns vs Ravens prediction

Browns vs Ravens Best bet: Ravens -11.5 (-108)

The Baltimore Ravens infamously blew a two-score lead in the fourth quarter against Buffalo last week, but it was an overall strong showing from the majority of the team.

This secondary comes into the year with arguably the highest expectations of any group. While it allowed the second-most EPA per dropback, it also still managed to grade out 17th in coverage according to Pro Football Focus.

The Cleveland Browns' offense, led by Joe Flacco, can’t hold a candle to Buffalo.

The Ravens stopped the Bills in their tracks on the ground only to see the reigning MVP go crazy through the air. Still, it should bounce back in a huge way against a weak offense, which will go from a friendly matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals to a brutal one against this Baltimore side.

Cleveland missed a bunch of tackles last week, which is a key factor here with all the speed Baltimore has at the skill positions.

Furthermore, Baltimore will be feeding the rock to Derrick Henry when Lamar Jackson isn’t running the ball — a far stronger look than Cincinnati’s abysmal backfield.

This is simply a jump up in competition that will be too great for Cleveland to overcome, and on the flip side, there’s so much to love about the Ravens, even though they lost last week.

Their skill position players went bananas, and Jackson wasn’t asked to do much through the air with several long completions limiting him to just 19 attempts. The Browns may have stunned this Ravens defense in Week 8 last year, but I don’t see that happening again.

Browns vs Ravens same-game parlay

The Browns allowed the second-most red zone targets to opposing tight ends last year, and those resulted in the 11th-most touchdowns allowed to the position.

Cleveland’s linebacking group has some questions to answer, and that’s evident after last week where it gave up 50 yards and a touchdown on nine targets to the position.

Mark Andrews may not have had a great game against Buffalo, but he’s still the lone tight end with Isiah Likely missing.

I’m also a huge fan of Zay Flowers here, who has a great matchup with Cam Ward — a player he tormented last year for 115 yards on seven grabs and is coming off a monstrous game vs. Buffalo.

Browns vs Ravens SGP

  • Ravens -11.5
  • Mark Andrews anytime touchdown
  • Zay Flowers Over 62.5 receiving yards

Our big-ticket SGP: Offense galore

  • Cleveland’s pass rush should keep Jackson outside of the pocket, as was the case last year when he averaged 54.5 yards on 8.5 carries in the two games these teams played.
  • I also want to throw some money behind Dylan Sampson after his great game against Cincinnati, where he excelled both through the air and on the ground.

Browns vs Ravens SGP

  • Ravens -11.5
  • Mark Andrews anytime touchdown
  • Zay Flowers Over 62.5 receiving yards
  • Lamar Jackson Over 46.5 rushing yards
  • Dylan Sampson anytime touchdown

Browns vs Ravens odds

  • Spread: Browns +11.5 (-112) | Ravens -11.5 (-108)
  • Moneyline: Browns +530 | Ravens -750
  • Over/Under: Over 45.5 (-102) | Under 45.5 (-120)
