We're entering the thick of conference play, and that means tight matchups in tough environments, including Auburn on the road against Oklahoma, Texas Tech taking on Utah, Michigan against Nebraska, and more.
I break down those matchups and pick a side in my Week 4 ATS college football picks below.

Expert Week 4 CFB ATS picks
Texas Tech vs Utah (-3.5): Texas Tech +3.5
This is a matchup with massive Big 12 implications, and it's one I can see going either way. If it stays beyond a field goal, take the points.
Oregon State vs Oregon (-35.5): Oregon -35.5
I got bit laying a huge number with Oregon last week, but back at home, the Ducks will be eager to play sharp football before heading off to Penn State next week. Oregon State is 0-3 and lost 45-14 at Texas Tech last week.
Michigan (-2.5) vs Nebraska: Nebraska +2.5
Bryce Underwood went 9/24 for 142 yards when Michigan played at Norman. Nebraska isn't Oklahoma, but until I see the freshman QB get it done on the road against a tough team, I'll be looking the other way.
Auburn vs Oklahoma (-6.5): Auburn +6.5
There's a Jackson Arnold revenge piece to this matchup, but even putting that aside, Auburn is playing well enough to give Oklahoma a real fight.
South Carolina vs Missouri (-13.5): Missouri -13.5
LaNorris Sellers left last week's game with a head injury, and with his status for this game uncertain, I'm inclined to lean Missouri's way.
Illinois vs Indiana (-4.5): Illinois +4.5
This line says more about Illinois' No. 9 ranking than it does about Indiana. Still, I'll take the points with what I think is the slightly better team.
Arizona State vs Baylor (-1.5): Baylor -1.5
Baylor's win at SMU is by far the most impressive thing either of these teams has done this season, and that has me leaning the way of the home team this weekend.
Wyoming vs Colorado (-13.5): Wyoming +13.5
Colorado is not playing steadily enough — look no further than its quarterback shuffle — to be trusted with a two-touchdown spread against 2-1 Wyoming.
Michigan State vs USC (-17.5): USC -17.5
You have to love the way USC is playing right now, and while the Spartans are also 3-0, their best win came in overtime against a Boston College team that's now 1-2.
