UFC Freedom 250 fight card odds

Ilia Topuria vs. Justin Gaethje Odds

Fighter Bet99
Ilia Topuria -475
Jutin Gaethje +375

Ilia Topuria enters this main event clash trailing only Islam Makhachev as the pound-for-pound No. 1 men’s fighter in the UFC, boasting a 17-0 record that includes three straight knockout wins.

As a result, Justin Gaethje is listed as a massive underdog, though he's fresh off decision wins over both Paddy Pimblett and Rafael Fiziev.

Pick to win: Ilia Topuria

Ilia Topuria is putting together one of the most impressive runs in the history of the sport, coming off knockout wins over former champions Alexander Volkanovski, Max Holloway, and Charles Oliveira.

Add in his undefeated 17-0 record, a nine-year age advantage, and the fact that Justin Gaethje absorbs a ridiculous 7.05 significant strikes per minute, and the matchup heavily favors Topuria. Expect the string of KO victories vs legendary opponents to continue. - Joe Osborne

Alex Pereira vs. Ciryl Gane odds

Fighter Bet99
Alex Pereira -110
Ciryl Gane -110

After losing the light heavyweight championship to Magomed Ankalaev at UFC 313, Alex Pereira got his revenge at UFC 320, making quick work of Ankalaev with a first-round TKO.

Eleven of Pereira’s 13 wins have come by knockout, and he’s listed as an ever-so-slight favorite over Ciryl Gane, whose most recent loss came by submission to Jon Jones in 2023.

Pick to win: Alex Pereira

On paper, there are reasons to like Cyril Gane, but I have serious doubts about whether he can rise to the occasion in such a high-profile spot.

The last time he had this many eyes on him was vs. Jon Jones in 2023, and he responded with the worst performance of his career, where he was submitted in the opening round.

Pereira should have no problem dealing with the pressure. His last six fights have all been main event championship matchups, and he won five of them by KO/TKO. - Joe Osborne

Sean O'Malley vs. Aiemann Zahabi odds

Fighter Bet99
Sean O'Malley -450
Aiemann Zahabi +350

Sean O'Malley stopped looking invincible after suffering back-to-back defeats at the hands of Merab Dvalishvili, but he bounced back against Song Yadong at UFC 324.

O'Malley now draws a favorable matchup against Aiemann Zahabi, who, despite holding a 14-2 record in the Octagon, has yet to face anyone of the caliber of “Sugar.”

Pick to win: Aiemann Zahabi

Sean O’Malley is the most overvalued fighter on this card, and his best days might already be behind him. He hasn’t finished an opponent in almost three years.

Additionally, squeaking out a win over Song Yadong following consecutive one-sided losses shouldn’t have him in this territory as a -425 favorite. Despite being older, Zahabi is the more emerging fighter and enters this fight with a lot more momentum, riding a seven-fight win streak.

At +320, the Canadian is very much worth a shot. - Joe Osborne

UFC Freedom 250 picks to win

  • Mauricio Ruffy (-650)
  • Bo Nickal (-370)
  • Steve Garcia (+145)
  • Josh Hokit (-340)

Mauricio Ruffy vs. Michael Chandler odds

Fighter Bet99
Mauricio Ruffy -550
Michael Chandler +450

Fresh off a Performance of the Night showing at UFC 325, Rafael Fiziev will look to keep his momentum going against Michael Chandler, who has dropped five of his last six bouts and enters this one as a notable underdog.

Bo Nickal vs. Kyle Daukaus odds

Fighter Bet99
Bo Nickal -325
Kyle Daukaus +240

Bo Nickal is listed as the clear betting chalk after registering a head-kick KO of Rodolfo Vieira at UFC 322.

However, Kyle Daukaus will be looking to continue his resurgence, having won back-to-back fights inside the distance since returning to the promotion.

Diego Lopes vs. Steve Garcia odds

Fighter Bet99
Diego Lopes -135
Steve Garcia +115

Diego Lopes hasn’t quite been able to reach the summit in the featherweight division, and he’ll have his hands full against Steve Garcia, who has come out on top in seven straight.

Josh Hokit vs. Derrick Lewis odds

Fighter Bet99
Josh Hokit -450
Derrick Lewis <<++350>>

Holding the record for the most knockouts in UFC history, 41-year-old Derrick Lewis isn’t ready to call it a career just yet as he prepares to take on the undefeated Josh Hokit.

Sporting a background in both college wrestling and football, Hokit has been climbing the heavyweight rankings since his highlight-reel appearance on Dana White's Contender Series last summer, following it up with three consecutive victories.

UFC Freedom 250 weather

The weather forecast continues to loom over tonight's activities, with Accuweather calling for a 50% change of rain throughout the evening and a potential for severe thunderstorms in the area.

The event is set to kick off around 8 p.m. ET, and considering UFC pay-per-views are typically scheduled for Saturday nights, rescheduling the event to a different day — especially for a venue like the White House — would be next to impossible.

Considering the amount of money they’ve invested in the event, look for UFC to pull out all stops in trying to get this card in. However, they can only move the card up so far, as punishingly hot conditions are expected during the day, with a "real feel" of 98 degrees.
