The New York Knicks had their five-game win streak snapped on Wednesday but will look to get right back into the win column tonight when they welcome the Miami Heat to Madison Square Garden for NBA Cup Group Play.

Miami has been a brutal rebounding team this season, which is why I’m banking on a big night on the glass for Karl-Anthony Towns. I’ll break down my favorite KAT prop and more in my Heat vs. Knicks predictions and NBA picks for Friday, November 14.

Heat vs Knicks prediction

Heat vs Knicks best bet: Karl-Anthony Towns Over 15.5 assists and rebounds (-115)

The New York Knicks were routed 124-107 by the Orlando Magic to snap their five-game run on Wednesday, but Karl-Anthony Towns had another all-around productive outing.

The Knicks center scored just 15 points but added 12 boards and four assists to record his seventh straight double-double and 10th in 11 games this season. KAT has also posted Over 15.5 assists and rebounds in two straight contests and four of his last six.

He should easily top that number again vs. a Miami Heat team that’s been lackluster defensively and on the glass.

Not only do the Heat rank 23rd in points against per game (120.7), but they’re also 29th in opponent rebounds per game (49.8) as well as opponent offensive rebounds per game (14.8).

KAT is averaging 12.6 boards per contest – good for third in the NBA – as well as four dimes per game. He should dominate on the glass and show off his playmaking skills tonight at MSG.

Heat vs Knicks same-game parlay

Jalen Brunson, New York’s leading scorer, is sidelined with an ankle injury, which should put even more pressure on Towns to produce. KAT has scored Over 26.5 points just twice this season but he should flourish as the Knicks’ top offensive option vs. a Heat team that isn’t playing much D.

At the other end of the court, Norman Powell has been a bright spot for Miami with 24.8 ppg this season and Over 23.5 points in three of his last four outings.

Heat vs Knicks SGP

  • Karl-Anthony Towns Over 15.5 assists and rebounds
  • Karl-Anthony Towns Over 26.5 points
  • Norman Powell Over 23.5 points

Our "from downtown" SGP: Ware's the value

Kel’el Ware has stepped up admirably as Miami’s starting center since Bam Adebayo went down with a toe injury last week. The seven-foot sophomore has 11.6 ppg and 10.4rpg in November while recording a double-double in two straight and three of his last five.

Heat vs Knicks SGP

  • Karl-Anthony Towns Over 15.5 assists and rebounds
  • Karl-Anthony Towns Over 26.5 points
  • Norman Powell Over 23.5 points
  • Kel’el Ware to record a double-double

Heat vs Knicks odds

  • Spread: Heat +5.5 | Knicks -5.5
  • Moneyline: Heat +190 | Knicks -225
  • Over/Under: Over 238.5 | Under 238.5
