Even though they may not strike a level of fear in the reigning NBA champions that they did last week at the United Center, my Bulls vs. Knicks prediction still has the visitors from the Windy City covering as immense underdogs in Midtown Manhattan tonight.

Chicago is a double-digit underdog on the spread for the fifth time in eight games, with a 7:30 p.m. ET tipoff at Madison Square Garden.

Let's dive into my analysis and NBA picks for Wednesday, Nov. 4.

 TOP PICK
Bulls vs Knicks prediction: Bulls +11.5

Play up to 55%.

A 3-4 start after their first title since 1973 is the polar opposite of what New York Knicks fans expected to open the 2026-27 campaign.

New York's 1-6 record ATS, however, is tied for the second-worst mark in the Association. That's enough reason, in and of itself, to believe the Chicago Bulls — who lost by six at +7.5 to the Knicks on Oct. 28 — can keep the score close yet again.

The Knicks' offense has been particularly concerning at home, generating just 106.9 points per 100 possessions — a dramatic drop from last season's league-best mark of 120.8.

Compounding the problem, New York is shooting just 41.9% from the field (27th overall), with five regulars (Jalen Brunson, O.G. Anunoby, Miles McBride, Josh Hart, and Mikal Bridges) converting below 40%.

The Bulls can capitalize on a vulnerable opponent here. The spread is too large, and the Knicks are too inconsistent.

Covers COVERS INTEL: While only 2-8 straight up as a road underdog of 10 or more points in 2025-26, Chicago actually possessed a winning record on the spread under said criteria at 6-4.

Bulls vs Knicks combo

The Bulls are 1-5 straight up across their last six visits to New York. Even with the recent shortcomings of the latter, the spread is what it is for a reason, as Chicago has just one victory to its name, and that was against a team currently tied with it in the standings: the 1-6 Milwaukee Bucks.

With combined 3-11 records in the Over/Under market, and both sides ranking in the bottom third in offense, projecting an Under at 234.5 points — a number which the Knicks have exceeded just once — is the path of least resistance.

Josh Giddey recorded a double-double of 10 points and 11 assists against New York last week, with his 11 dimes being a season high. He's gone Over 7.5 in four of his seven appearances, thus far, and is averaging 8.2 assists in 16 career looks at the Knicks, as well.

  • Under 234.5 points
  • Josh Giddey Over 7.5 assists

Bulls vs Knicks player props

Bulls player prop: Caleb Wilson Over 8.5 rebounds + assists

Play up to 62%.

Caleb Wilson already looks every bit the fourth overall selection the Bulls invested in this year's draft. He sits second amongst rookies in scoring (21.6 points), third in rebounds (6.7), and eighth in assists (2.7) through his first seven career games.

The latter two numbers are most important here, as Wilson has gone Over a combination prop of 8.5 boards and dimes in each of the last three games and four of his last five.

Wilson's six-rebound, four-assist line on Oct. 28 already proves he can get his numbers against the Knicks. As the only Bulls player averaging more than 30 minutes, he'll have every opportunity to do it again on Wednesday.

Knicks player prop: Josh Hart Under 10.5 points

Play up to 58%.

Hart is currently listed as questionable with ankle soreness as of Wednesday morning, so this is based on the assumption he'll be in uniform.

If he's out there, the 31-year-old veteran wing has done little to suggest double-digit scoring will be a foregone conclusion against Chicago. Hart has dropped eight or fewer points in four straight games, making just 34.8% of his shots in 30.3 minutes of action.

His worst display through seven games, by far, was against the Bulls when he scored just two measly points and missed five of his six shots. Either Hart doesn't play at all, or he's on the hardwood at less than 100% health while in the midst of a cold streak.
