The Texas Rangers and Seattle Mariners begin a three-game set tonight at T-Mobile Park, with a pitcher’s duel on the mound between Jacob deGrom and Logan Gilbert.
My Rangers vs. Mariners predictions are eyeing Texas to take the series opener behind deGrom’s dominance.

Who will win Rangers vs Mariners tonight: Rangers moneyline (+110)
The Texas Rangers salvaged a series split with the Athletics on Thursday, scoring nine runs. They now have their ace on the mound in Jacob deGrom, who has a 2.87 ERA through three starts. The right-hander gave up only one earned run last time out to the powerful LA Dodgers.
When it comes to facing this Seattle Mariners lineup, deGrom is utterly brilliant. Across 77 at-bats, he’s held them to a .182 average, while striking out 26 hitters. Seattle’s offense is struggling, ranking towards the bottom of the Majors in average and runs.
Logan Gilbert has also had success against Texas, limiting them to a .197 average across 147 at-bats. He allowed two earned runs to them earlier this month. It will be a pitcher’s duel, but deGrom will be more lights out.

Rangers vs Mariners Over/Under pick: Under 6.5 runs (-105)
When these two teams met on April 6, we got exactly what I’m expecting tonight – a pitcher’s duel between Gilbert and deGrom. 6.5 is a low total, but neither of these offenses has proven much so far, and both starters are in good form.
After a shaky start to 2026, Gilbert has calmed down, allowing just three earned runs across his previous two outings. deGrom has also given up just two earned runs in his last two starts.
Texas and Seattle both boast solid bullpens, too. The Rangers have a 2.99 ERA, while the M’s own a 2.90 ERA.
