Paul Skenes could be in for a tough afternoon at Wrigley against a red-hot Chicago Cubs offense.

Another busy slate across the Majors presents value in my MLB player props analysis.

I'm eyeing Paul Skenes to have a rough go in Chicago, while Tyler Glasnow should miss bats down in Miami. Plus Elly De La Cruz is also in line to keep up his offensive brilliance.

Paul Skenes Over 2.5 earned runs (+119)

Play this pick down to +100.

Paul Skenes has had a rough campaign by his standards, and he's struggling to find dominance lately. The right-hander sports a 4.70 FIP across his last two starts, and he's allowed Over 2.5 earned runs in two of his previous four appearances.

Skenes will be on the road today to face the Chicago Cubs, who previously tagged the righty for five earned runs in July. Chicago's lineup continues to swing it well too, posting an impressive 134 wRC+ in their last 12 games.

Chicago also has a 123 wRC+ at home. They should give Skenes some trouble at Wrigley Field.

Tyler Glasnow Over 7.5 strikeouts (+107)

Play this prop down to +100.

Tyler Glasnow is back and missing bats. He's averaging 9.69 K/9 in his last two outings. The hard-throwing righty struck out eight in his most recent start, and he'll face a Miami Marlins lineup tonight that has averaged nine strikeouts across their last three games.

Glasnow has struck out 28% of the hitters he's faced recently, and he finished just below tonight's total in his two previous starts before last week's solid outing against the Washington Nationals.

Elly De La Cruz Over 0.5 runs (+116)

Play this pick up to +100.

Elly De La Cruz is out of this world right now. He's batting .474 over the last five games with ridiculous power numbers and, most notably for this pick, a .759 wOBA

The infielder has come across the plate in eight of his last nine games. Friday's game against the Milwaukee Brewers broke an eight-game streak of scoring a run. De La Cruz also has six multi-hit games in his previous eight contests, highlighting his ability to consistently get on base.

The Cincinnati Reds are also in good offensive form, averaging a respectable 4.6 runs per game in the last week.

De La Cruz will do his part in helping Cincy produce.
