Prop pick #1: Dylan Guenther 3+ shots on goal

Novig probability: 54%

Utah Mammoth winger Dylan Guenther has converted a team-high 29 attempts into just eight shots on goal (27.6%) over the past four games, after posting a 47.8% conversion rate to start the season.

Guenther also finished eighth in shots per 60 minutes last year, and the Mammoth land in a perfect matchup for him to pile up SOG tonight. The Seattle Kraken have allowed the third-most shots per game and rank 29th in Corsi For percentage at 5-on-5, so I recommend this prop up to 56%.

  • Matchup: Mammoth vs. Kraken
  • Time: 10 p.m. ET
  • Location: Climate Pledge Arena, Seattle
  • TV: ESPN+, Sportsnet+

Prop pick #2: Emmitt Finnie 1+ points

Novig probability: 49%

Detroit Red Wings center Emmitt Finnie is centering a sneaky line with Alex DeBrincat and Michael Brandsegg-Nygard. The trio has clicked for a rock-solid 6.08 goals per 60 minutes with a 58.8 CF% and 60.1 expected goals percentage at 5-on-5, and Finnie has hit the scoresheet in three of his past four games for five total points while averaging 19:10 of ice time per night.

This is also a soft matchup. The Vancouver Canucks have surrendered the most goals per game and the most expected goals per 60 minutes at 5-on-5.

Finnie to find the scoresheet is in play up to 51%.

  • Matchup: Red Wings vs. Canucks
  • Time: 10 p.m. ET
  • Location: Rogers Arena, Vancouver, B.C.
  • TV: ESPN+, Sportsnet+

Goal scorer pick: Pavel Dorofeyev

Novig probability: 36%

The goals are coming for New York Rangers winger Pavel Dorofeyev. After scoring 72 goals at a 14.9% shooting percentage over the past two years, the go-to Russian has found the back of the net just twice on a 5.7 SH% through 11 games.

Dorofeyev has generated a team-high 5.35 expected goals, 35 shots, and 73 shot attempts, and he’s clicked with center J.T. Miller for an elite 59.0 CF% and 66.9 xGF% at 5-on-5.

Feel confident backing Dorofeyev to score up to 37%.

  • Matchup: Rangers vs. Maple Leafs
