There's plenty of bad blood between these teams, and William Nylander will strike when his team goes a man up.

A game that means so little to the Toronto Maple Leafs standings-wise is one they've had circled since honorary scumbag Radko Gudas took out their captain, Auston Matthews, back on March 12.

Tonight's affair could be scrappy, and my Maple Leafs vs. Ducks predictions expect the Buds to strike on the man advantage.

Find out more in my NHL picks for March 30.

Maple Leafs vs Ducks prediction

Maple Leafs vs Ducks best bet: William Nylander Over 0.5 power play points (+230)

It doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure out this game could get out of hand quickly. I expect whistles to be looser than usual for both sides to keep things in order as much as possible.

The Anaheim Ducks take 9.9 penalty minutes per game (29th), and their 78.4 penalty kill percentage sits at 21st.

The Toronto Maple Leafs' 19% power play won't turn heads, but given enough chances, it can make some noise. The Buds recently had four power plays vs. Boston and converted twice.

William Nylander picked up his 16th PP point on the season — a Toronto best.

Maple Leafs vs Ducks same-game parlay

Let's have some exacta fun.

While Nylander has the most power-play points for Toronto, John Tavares has the most goals with eight. With enough time on the man advantage, the former Leafs captain will rack up plenty of shots and bury the biscuit for his team — as Nylander lends a helping hand.

Neither team instills much confidence on the defensive side of the ice, and Over bettors have profited as a result. They're a combined 81-58-8 to the Over, and the last meeting ended up with a 6-4 final.

Anaheim's projected starter, Lukas Dostal, has let in three goals in four of his last five outings, while Toronto netminder Joseph Woll just got shelled by the Blues.
