The NFL returns to Brazil on Friday night for a marquee matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers.
Both offenses have plenty of impact players, and my NFL picks are betting on a pair of recent first-round picks to punch it into the end zone.
Here are my best free Chiefs vs. Chargers anytime touchdown picks for Friday, September 5.
Chiefs anytime touchdown pick
Xavier Worthy (+130 at bet365)
The Kansas City Chiefs selected Xavier Worthy with their first-round pick in 2024 after he set an NFL-combine record with a 4.21 40-yard dash.
Worthy proved that his game speed was just as impressive as his track speed by scoring 12 TDs in the regular season and playoffs. Offensive coordinator Matt Nagy was creative in getting the ball in the receiver's hands, which resulted in Worthy getting 20 rush attempts for 104 yards and three scores.
No Chiefs wide receiver saw more targets in the red zone than Worthy, who hauled in 11 of 18 throws. The next-closest WR on that list was the departed DeAndre Hopkins, who had just 11, while Travis Kelce led the team with 26.
Worthy is more than a red-zone threat since he can also get open deep and can rip off big runs on handoffs. The fact that Patrick Mahomes had so much faith in Worthy as a rookie, bodes well for increased looks this year — especially with Rashee Rice suspended.

Chargers anytime touchdown pick
Omarion Hampton (+110 at bet365)
The Los Angeles Chargers took Omarion Hampton with the 22nd pick in the draft, and you just know that Greg Roman is going to love pounding the rock with his shiny new toy.
Hampton is a big back who combines breakaway speed with explosiveness, power, and vision. He rushed for 3,164 yards and 30 touchdowns in his last two years at UNC while earning back-to-back first-team All-American honors.
The Bolts signed veteran Najee Harris in the offseason, but he rarely impressed in Pittsburgh and has only been practicing with L.A. since last week due to an eye injury. That should lead to a work-horse role for Hampton in a run-heavy scheme in Week 1
The Chiefs were solid against the run last year, but the 220-pound Hampton will be tough to stop at the goal line.
