The 2025 NFL International Series kicks off in style on Friday night with the Kansas City Chiefs taking on the Los Angeles Chargers at Corinthians Arena in São Paulo, Brazil. Kickoff is at 8:00 p.m. ET on YouTube.
All eyes will be on this AFC West clash, and I’ve got a trio of NFL player props to complement the action, highlighted by a Justin Herbert play.
Find out more in my NFL picks for Chiefs vs. Chargers on September 5.
Chiefs vs Chargers FNF props
Herbert o226.5 pass yds (-110)
Pacheco o8.5 rec yds (-110)
Brown o36.5 rec yds (-110)
Justin Herbert Over 226.5 passing yards
Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert has passed for 236+ yards in seven of nine games against the Chiefs, and he also aired it out for a career-high 7.7 yards per attempt last season.
Of course, Herbert will also benefit from an improved supporting cast — including a reunion with wide receiver Keenan Allen — after he was saddled with a league-low 6.6% drop rate in 2024.
I also anticipate the Chargers needing to attack through the air more than head coach Jim Harbaugh would like on Friday night, and the Chiefs had middling ranks in both EPA per dropback (15th) and passing yards allowed per game (18th) last year.
Isiah Pacheco Over 8.5 receiving yards
Kansas City Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco caught 44 of 49 targets for a respectable 244 yards during his breakout 2023 campaign, and before fracturing his fibula in Week 2 last year, he had already added 54 receiving yards on seven catches.
Pacheco should receive multiple targets on Friday, and the Chargers also allowed the ninth-most receptions to opposing running backs last season.
Hollywood Brown Over 36.5 receiving yards
Last year was a write-off for Chiefs wide receiver Hollywood Brown, but he’s now healthy and enters 2025 with a go-to role in the passing attack.
Brown caught nine of 15 targets for 91 yards across two regular-season games before seeing less involvement in the postseason.
His underlying numbers have always been solid, with Brown sporting a 12.5 aDOT and 11.9 yards per reception for his career.
The Chargers also allowed the sixth-highest yards per target to opposing wide receivers in 2024-25.
