The anytime goal scorer market for USA vs. Bosnia is limited in options, but not in quality—especially in terms of the host nation.
The United States are heavily favored to advance from the Round of 32 after a strong group stage where they scored eight goals, and it comes as no surprise that Folarin Balogun and Christian Pulisic are the top picks to score.
Bosnia managed just four goals of their own—plus an own goal by Qatar—as they relied on defense to advance, but Kerim Alajbegovic is a direct attacker who can cause the Yanks problems.
Kalshi is one of our top prediction market apps, and they’re offering strong returns on their goal scoring market for these players. But there are a few other names that you should be keeping an eye on as well.
Here are my favorite USA vs. Bosnia predictions and World Cup picks broken down into two favorites, two values, and two sleepers.

My USA vs Bosnia goal scorer predictions: Favorites
Folarin Balogun, USA
All six goals allowed by Bosnia in this tournament have come from shots inside the penalty area, as they’ve allowed the 11th-highest shot rate inside the 18-yard box.
Folarin Balogun’s movement inside the penalty area is a nightmare for defenders, and he’s averaging nearly nine penalty area touches per 90 minutes played.
The American attack revolves around finding him in the penalty area, which makes him a live threat at any stage of the match.
Kerim Alajbegovic, Bosnia
Of the four options being offered for Bosnia, Kerim Alajbegovic is the only one with a goal to his name at the 2026 World Cup.
It was his strike from outside the box that opened the scoring in Bosnia’s 3-1 win over Qatar, and despite having taken just two shots in the competition he’s third in xG for his country.
Alajbegovic ranks in the 98th percentile at the World Cup in successful dribbles per 90 minutes, and will look to attack the USMNT directly on the counter-attack.
My USA vs Bosnia goal scorer predictions: Values
Christian Pulisic, USA
Christian Pulisic looked lively in the opening match before he came off at halftime, and his energy and attacking ability immediately made an impact upon his entrance vs. Turkiye.
He’s only taken three shots in 77 minutes, but has put two on target for 1.07 xGOT compared to 0.58 xG. His 1.25 xGOT per 90 minutes ranks in the 98th percentile of all World Cup players.
Add in his penalty and free kick usage, and he’s a solid value at this price.
Weston McKennie, USA
Weston McKennie has 17 touches in the opposition penalty area, a mark bettered by only 18 players in the tournament after the group stage. He’s only attempted three shots however, putting one on target.
I expect he will be more involved with how much attention Pulisic and Balogun will command. He should also get on the ball plenty with Bosnia sitting back in defense.
His price here is a favorable one given how I expect the match to play out.
My USA vs Bosnia goal scorer predictions: Sleepers
Alex Freeman, USA
Alex Freeman will line up at right back against Bosnia, and typically isn’t going to shoot from open play. However, he does present a threat from set pieces, and scored against Australia on his only attempt in the tournament.
His 6-foot-2 frame provides the Americans with one of their best aerial targets on set pieces, but his price is justified against a Bosnian side ranked third in the World Cup in aerial duel win rate.
Antonee Robinson, USA
While he’s yet to take a shot at the World Cup, Jedi Robinson has shown he’s capable of banging one in. His striking ability was on full display against Germany in the warm-up match earlier this month, when he scored an absolute screamer from outside the box.
Canadian LB Richie Laryea nearly scored on Bosnia in their first match of the group stage, and Bosnia’s desire to sit back and defend can invite runners from deep.
