Who will win Notre Dame vs Purdue: Notre Dame -27.5
Purdue is coming off a double-overtime loss to Wake Forest two weeks ago, then traveled to Los Angeles, where it lost to UCLA 52-38 last week. Now, the Boilermakers have to travel all the way back home to host No. 3 Notre Dame.
The Boilermakers have endured a tough stretch of games, and they might be exhausted heading into this matchup. Sure, this is their biggest game of the season against their in-state foe, but there are a lot of miles on those tires.
Notre Dame's top-ranked defense has allowed just 23 points through three games, and the Fighting Irish will put the Boilermakers' offense through hell on Saturday. Purdue will not have it easy putting up 30-plus points like it has this season.
With Notre Dame not looking ahead to anything, this should be a game in which the Fighting Irish are focused on the task at hand.

This game should be all Notre Dame. It is going to be extremely difficult for Purdue to move the ball up and down the field, especially with this being its first true test of the 2026 season. I fully expect the Fighting Irish to carry the scoring load in this matchup while keeping the game under 58 points.
Purdue may average 37 points per game this season, but it will be hitting a brick wall against a team allowing just a touchdown per game.
