Who will win Notre Dame vs North Carolina: Notre Dame -21.5
Notre Dame has no reason to let off the gas this season, especially after being left out of the College Football Playoff a year ago. The Fighting Irish have to leave the committee with zero doubt that they are one of the best teams in the country.
With a big game against BYU still two weeks away, they should be fully focused on North Carolina this week. Although the Tar Heels look far better than they did a year ago under Bill Belichick, they're going to get bullied by an elite defense that ranks No. 2 nationally and is allowing just 8.25 points per game.
The Fighting Irish will be too overwhelming for the Tar Heels as they face their toughest test yet. I'm fully expecting a low-scoring game, with the Irish covering the 21.5-point spread.

This Notre Dame defense has allowed opponents to score next to nothing and should be able to keep the scoring in check. The Irish will likely jump out to an early lead before parking the bus and playing conservatively in the second half.
Although UNC managed to put up 20 points against Clemson, 14 came in the first quarter. The Tar Heels were completely shut out over the final three quarters and now face an Irish team allowing just 199 total yards per game.
