The Milwaukee Bucks will look for an interleague sweep at Fenway Park on Sunday afternoon when they visit the Boston Red Sox.
The Red Sox will try to avoid falling under .500 for the third time this season, and the books have installed them as -142 home favorites in the MLB odds.
We’ll tell you why the pitching matchup has something to do with it as I share my Brewers vs. Red Sox predictions and MLB picks below.

My analysis
The Milwaukee Brewers are seeking their fourth win in five games and are continuing to build on an impressive road resume. Their 6-3 win Saturday over the Boston Red Sox improved their road record to an NL-best 18-12 mark.
On the season, the offense has been key for Milwaukee’s success: ranking inside the Top 6 in hitting (.256 average), slugging percentage, and OPS. It will be a tough task for Tanner Houck, who gets the start for Boston against Milwaukee side that boasts the sixth-most runs scored this year, averaging 5.04 runs per contest.
Houck is just 4-5 on the season, but the ERA is a sparkling 1.94, good for fifth in the bigs, and he’s Top 20 in strikeouts. He's coming off one of his best pitching performances this season, as he surrendered two hits in seven innings of work, with zero earned runs while striking out five.
Boston may have the third-best ERA in baseball, but they've been hit well by the Brew Crew, getting outscored 13-5 over the first two games of this series. The Red Sox offense still only ranks 18th in runs scored, though they're inside the Top 10 in both slugging percentage and OPS.
Milwaukee hands the ball to Tobias Myers, who last pitched in relief against the Marlins. He lasted an inning, giving up a hit and striking out a pair. This will be his fifth start of the season and his first against Boston. The rookie is 1-2 on the year with an inflated 5.00 ERA.
Myers has been consistently inconsistent in his starts: in two starts, he’s surrendered just one earned run, and those bookend his rougher outings when he gave up four earned runs and a pair of home runs apiece in losses to the Yankees and Cubs.
Milwaukee might have won three of the last four head-to-head meetings, but Boston should win with the pitching advantage here, avoiding a series sweep.
Brewers vs Red Sox same-game parlay (SGP)
Willy Adames has had himself a series against the Red Sox, going 3-for-8 with a pair of doubles and two RBI in the first two games of the set. That's why we’re targeting his 1.5 total bases prop.
He’s now hit safely in four straight and has shown some pop, ripping four doubles during this streak. Adames has only one at-bat in his career against Houck, and it was a double.
It will be the first time he’s faced Myers, but we know the young Brewers pitcher is prone to getting blown up. I like Wong’s chances of cashing in with a couple of hits.
