The Los Angeles Dodgers (62%) are poised for a huge offensive performance against Brady Singer, who slots in the sixth percentile in xERA.

The Cincinnati Reds have won more games than only four teams over the last 30. They are not in good form, and my Dodgers vs. Reds predictions are having a hard time imagining things getting better against the Los Angeles Dodgers (62%).

Brady Singer has bled runs for months, making Los Angeles an appealing target for my MLB picks for Thursday, Sept. 17.

Who will win Dodgers vs Reds today: Dodgers moneyline

For help understanding probabilities, see our odds calculator.

I’m backing the Los Angeles Dodgers up to 66%.

Cincinnati Reds starter Brady Singer is getting hit around each time he takes the mound. He's conceded at least three earned runs in 11 consecutive starts, posting a 6.83 ERA and 6.65 xERA.

His contact profile is alarming as well, and is continuously getting worse. He's allowed a 13.8% barrel rate and 52.9% hard-hit rate over the last month.

The Dodgers aren’t firing on all cylinders, but they still rank Top 10 in xwOBA vs. righties in September. Look for their bats to lead the way.

Covers COVERS INTEL: Singer ranks in the first percentile in Pitching Run Value, and is likely to be outclassed by the league's fourth-highest scoring offense.

Dodgers vs Reds Over/Under pick: Over 9.5

I’d play the Over to 54%.

The Dodgers are runaway leaders in xSLG against right-handed pitching on the road. They hit for a lot of power, and that should continue this afternoon.

Singer has allowed 2.19 HR/9 with a 7.78 xERA spanning the last seven starts. Taking on the Dodgers on a hot day in a hitter-friendly ballpark in that form is a recipe for disaster.

Justin Wrobleski conceded 1.66 HR/9 against Top-15 opponents in ISO vs. southpaws, and the bullpen isn’t in great shape behind him after Blake Snell pitched just one inning.

Dodgers vs Reds home run prediction: Max Muncy

Singer bleeds power to left-handed bats, in particular. He's given up an ISO of nearly .210 to go with 2.11 HR/9.

Max Muncy is a prime candidate to capitalize. He's smashed righties to the tune of a .241 ISO, and 22 of his 28 homers have come against right-handed pitching.

He's going to see a steady diet of sinkers and sliders, and that sets up well for him. Muncy has generated barrels at a 16.7% clip while hitting the ball hard 55.6% of the time against those two pitches thrown by righties.
